It seems like it would also make it harder to ban someone 'for any reason'. Can't just take their property away from them. It'd be like if you caused a disruption in the mall, and the guards took your wallet, clothes, and glasses before they threw you out into the parking lot.
Not unexpected. They're already charging for every little possible extra feature they can think of.. may as well try to get a cut from all those ebay sales as well.
Sony's gone cash-nuts. Like a Cookie Monster and a bag of Oreos.
The first 7 seasons of Stargate SG-1 are available on DVD. You have no excuse not to buy them.
You can send a much more valid message by supporting the DVD productions of the TV shows you want. No commercials there. No money goes to the TV stations either, so you're not perpetuating their sloth.
Don't forget to get a copy of Firefly while you're at it.
Site is borked now, but they did say something like they turned the effect all the way up so it would be obvious in the video, but that it looked much better and much more natural when it just barely bounced when moved.
Your organization doesn't have to know that unrelated programs X, Y, and Z aren't part of a unified package. Call it the Open Source Suite and set up a single-point installer for everything.
Actually, it's because people like doctors and lawyers and other paper-shovelers have to sign so many documents, they have to choose between a really simple signature or RSI or a clumsy signature stamp.
I was with my parents when they bought a house about 15 years ago. The real estate agent had a funky little loop+line for a sig, and she signed it to dozens of documents while we were there. Sometimes on every page.
Yep, I'll second that. We made our stretch goal this year, that's close to 30% more than the regular projected growth goal, we got the big speech about doing great, sales were huge, ticking right along, etc.
And then two weeks later they laid off seven people. Because sales weren't meeting the projected quotas any more. WTF. We always have a downturn about this time of year, but now that we're corporate, that's unacceptable. Feh.

Awesome, thanks
Looks cool, but I could have done without the annoying auto-resizing of Firefox...
They even had plenty of sand. Want to watch out for the little earwig things though.
That concept is completely ludacris!

Anti-distinctly minty?

It fills the quarter jars pretty quickly though.

It's not your signature they take, it's the CC#, exp date, and confirmation code, to use online where no one ever asks for a signature.
Yes, because all 435 members of the House have completely stopped all other activities and are focusing on this panel.
Oh wait, they haven't.
Or maybe he'll just be a very gassy Han Solo..

Just keep that in mind next time you hear some harebrained scheme to do this or that coming from 'the US Government'.
Nah, I suppose that's too much to ask of Slashdot, huh.

What can we say... they need a good kicking.
Their stock is down over $0.25.. that's a good start. People are dumping it like a psycho girlfriend.

So then you think China and India shouldn't be exempt? I agree, there shouldn't be any exceptions made, if the stakes are that high.
It'd be a shame if someone was to.. set fire to them.
