  1. Demographic breakdown on DIY Polling Shows Bush, Kerry Will Win · · Score: 5, Funny

According to 7-11, Bush cup supporters enjoy their coffee with plenty of rich cream and sugar, while Kerry cup supporters prefered they're coffee black or opted for a more international blend. With less the one percent of the cup vote third party cups remained unused, cup voters instead opted for their homemade organic root-marm. When asked about the poll Bush was quoted as saying, "Juan Valdez is a true patriot. Never forget 7-11... er I mean 911." The Kerry camp simply stated, "most young americans don't drink coffee, do you have any questions not related to coffee." Ralph Nader popular third party candidate had this to say. "Corporate America is pulling a fast one at the expense of the American consumer once again with cofee lids that could easily pop off scalding thousands, blinding hundreds."

I've seen the list and there are next to no latin american names. Plenty of Williams, Jacksons, Robertsons, Jones, Johnsons etc. This was back on August 26, the list has no doubt grown, from the date of the emails the list grew by 60 in a day.

  5. Re:Yeah, yeah ... on Republicans Plan Voter Challenges in Florida · · Score: 1

The excess registrations in Ohio are due to contract companies getting paid per registrant and therefore making more money by registering the same person multiple times. Everyone will still only vote once.

The problem with Florida is that the list consists of primarily black voters. Not only that but the list consists of only people in Jacksonville, imagine how many other counties are doing the same thing. From what I saw they seem to be checking if the registrations are valid, more then likely though this is done in the most half-ass way possible. The email subjects and attachments also suggest something more sinister "Re: caging" "Caging.xls". This may be a serious effort to disenfranchise black voters.

If you're thinking of getting a Xbox to use as a cheap mediacenter do yourself a favor and get a used one. While this chip is compatible with the newest version of the Xbox (1.6) it doesn't work without a fair bit of motherboard modification.
