    There are about 50,000 unique Chinese characters, and the Chinese names are made out of the combinations of those 50,000 unique Chinese characters

    On the other hand, the "West" as it is, has too many of its own "John Brown" / "Mary Smith"

    Imagine having a hard disk with a capacity of 2,000 TB. Using a SATA 3.0 bus with a sustained maximum throughput of 600 MiB/s, it would still take over 37 days to read or write the entire device.

    By the time this atomic scale HD hits the consumer sphere - if they do, it'll be something like 20+ years from now - I'm sure by then (2030+) they would have parallel version of SATA 9.0 that can read the entire 2ExaByte content in like 0.2 milsec

    All Google does - and I am not employed by Google or any of its associates - in this case, is to offer a service.

    To say that Google is "evil" in this case is like saying the late Mother Teresa did what she did for the sake of publicity.

    A race to the bottom may result in a lower-quality experience, if the user happens to have a high expectation.

    That says, we need to understand that the users of this $35 computer are from India, and although not everyone in India is poor, many of the Indians still don't get to own much to begin with.

    One more important thing that will affect the experience thing is the software.

    If the apps (including the OS) runs on the $35 computer are bloatwares, they will surely add to the frustration of the users.

    So, in other words, the people who are behind this $35 computer project better come up with super-efficient apps in order to not let down the users too much.
