I'd love to see EA outsource Madden football development to India. A country that doesn't even play American football.

I can picture the software director waste time trying to explain 1st Down, and why this is different with Cricket. Come to think of it, I don't think ANY country in the world really plays American football.

I guess EA will just have to reuse last year's engine and just update the roster with their NFL player ownership. Oh wait don't they do that every year.

They had IPX early, which should destroy the first generation of TCP/IP, and it never panned out. Novell Netware was better than many server OS at the time, and it never panned out. You see the pattern here. Novell problem was never about money. They don't know how to deal their cards.

I got a problem with the pricing too. For example, $9 a month on Rhapsody music service gets you almost all music for all artists.

$14 a month only lets you play 1 game. Sony has come up with a $20 for all Everquest etc games under the same Sony roof. How about all MMORPG companies get together and come up with a $15 fee play ANY game you want service.

Thief was alright, though I don't think it's a game that put people on the pre-order list. Hitman was downright aweful in the sense that it was about as unoriginal as it gets. I was shocked to find out there was even a sequel made. TR is done, it's got the most shallow gameplay, plot, action.

EA should buy them out for the sake of owning even more of the market. Well, actually I'd just like to see them have even more financial burden. This is a pretty big one.

Man, the only way IE7 has a chance is if it comes bundled even more than before. It won't cause M$ lost the court cases to Netscape already.

In addition, it would have to be bullet proof from the security standpoint, faster than before AND run on linux. I think Mozilla or firefox is the official future.

Alot of enterprises are still tied to IE, but that will all change unless M$ comes back with a vengenance.

But what's worst is the cockyness among artists nowadays. I signed up with Rhapsody, and out of the hundreds of album I sampled, the best album contain around 5 good songs. On average, most albums have 1 or less.

Too many artists are left on stage for too long. Bring them down, so they won't be so cocky. Make them really work for better music. We agree the RIAA execs don't deserve to be millionaires. I wonder if most of the artists out there should be either.

I have a couple relatives aged 13 to 8 who have been mega Gameboy Advanced fans. I cannot tell you how disappointed they have been with the DS. Let's just say they are begging their parents to buy them a PSP, and the parents refused to spend any more money.

They are stuck with a system with more or less the same game library as GBAdvanced, except everything is labeled DS. They are too young to know how to effectively sell it, and none of their friends really care or have the money to buy an old DS.

Sports game history has shown that any player (cough cough.. Jordan, Barkley) can opt out of being in a video game. Can this contract guarantee every player as well as players of the past will be in the game?

I want to see the 80s Celtics in full or the 80s Lakers. This contract does none of that. There is really no improvments made in the game except it assures you EA won't be a monopoly slut.
