You bring up some outstanding points. The problem is that most family are ultra unstable. Though I do need to fix your numbers here. The average housing price increase is more like 7-10% a year.
Damn Right! 9.1 surround sound output to a real digital receiver, that's the way it should be in PS3.
Though my ALL TIME request is bring back a light zapper. NES and Sega Master system are the only console ever to come bundled with guns straight from the original console manufacturers. What sup with all these 3rd party garbage nowadays.
I know a number of people who are interested in one. However, they are all waiting for the price to drop if not tank. Consumers are not stupid. We've learned the lessons of buying a PS2 for double the price on first week launch.
Manufacturers want to expand the demand by limiting supply, make us pre-order, pay upfront so they can rack up the interests. Those days are over. Less and less people care to buy games/system on the first day.
I almost wish KDE and GNOME would just combine effort to create the ultimate gui desktop. They both have their pluses, but individually they never seem to be better than windows desktop. Damn it, when will they have cleartype fonts.
While Super Metroid is an excellent/outstanding game, it pales in comparison to Castlevania Symphony of the Night. For anyone who has played it, it's literally the undisputed 2D platformer.
It's not the P2P users fault. The industry executives are lazily marketing the same people over and over. Most artists in the mainstream are qualified to make a few good tracks, not 3 albums in 3 years.
I used to buy from iTunes, and I am a Rhapsody user now. The best albums, I can find 5 good songs out of maybe 20 tracks. Amazingly none of these great albums were really mainstream. If it wasn't for these services, I wouldn't even know they exist.
You can't possibly tell me 50cent is the best hiphop artist available in 2004 and 2005. P2P has to stay, so people know their options. Buying CDs is like buying a lemon automobile, 50% usable.
I always saw Tribes as more or less the same as Unreal Tournament 2004. If we already have too many WWII fps, we have equally as many futuristic marines fps.
I never could finish HL2. The part where we got to the giant spiders and the bungie racer was giving me way too much chills. I was getting uncomfortable staring at insects for that long. My game is a waste now.
I went to Gamestop earlier today. Some poor guy pre ordered a PSP and got the system. When he asked for games, the store guys said "Too bad, every PSP game has been either sold or are on reserve".
I cannot remember the last time a system launched and 100% of a store's inventory is gone.
That is the saddest way to defend Apple's overpricing. The iPod is overpriced with expensive components, yes... maybe acceptable.
But you mean to tell me a car adapter, a firewire cable and other iPod accessories need to be orverpriced too. Apple is clearly jacking prices up, cause they are in the monopoly seat.
All those companies launched their handhelds at a down cycle. Sony is the only company Nintendo ever competed with that has 2 very strong successful consoles backing it up (PS1, PS2). Once PS3 comes out, Sony will have 3 strong consoles backing up 1 handheld.
Sega came the closest with 1 dying Genesis, which was practically dominated by SNES at the time. Not to mention the amount Sega spent marketing was a joke compared to what Sony has done. AND the Internet didn't exist quite back then.
Companies need to start making fighting game sequels without subtracting characters. As long as you go up a series keeping all the same characters, it's all good.
I hate it when they make up some lame storyline to make certain characters not available (cough cough Tekken).
The quality of cables is so high nowadays, it's almost impossible to tell the difference by ear. I swear, a gauge 12 and gauge 16 all sound the same. The brands almost don't matter either.

RIAA: We are getting screwed.
Supreme Court: How?
RIAA: They are giving our product away.
Techie: I got a one line perl script p2p software.
RIAA: Arrest that thief.
Supreme Court: We'll just rule out that script as illegal and take it off the market.
Techie: Sure.
RIAA: WTF, he's got like 20 scripts in 20 languages.
Well I was really ready to sign up for the Tivo lifetime subscription plan. After reading this article, I am afraid big time.
Me too. I was thinking microsoft bloodtest XP 2005 premium edition, bloodtest Office 2005, bloodtest streets and maps 2005.

Pfff... you don't sue someone till they have become richer and more profitable. That way your gain is even greater once you win.

Don't worry Earl will soon have the assistance of hundreds of non-English speaking Iraqi prisoners to help him.

Well at least they didn't quote something from Matrix revolution or Matrix reloaded. The server might shutdown afterwards.
Where I am confused is... isn't Corel word and OpenOffice capable of opening even the latest version of M$ Office doc anyways?

Please.... everyone knows DRM stands for "Dollars to RIAA management".
LMAO. Until someone modded you funny, I was thinking wtf is going on.
Are you on crack?!

Has anyone tried Mirapoint? Which is literally hardware mail server (www.mirapoint.com).
Wha? Wouldn't it make the company #1 financially in just a few years if it keeps up at this rate.
