Is there a competitor or similar service to Twilio out there? I just started using it a couple of weeks ago prototyping some internal stuff for our business. I don't have any high volume needs. If I send 100 texts in a single day that'd probably be really high.
It's easy enough to use but if I've been wondering if there's a better or cheaper alternative out there.
signalwire.com is very similar but also very new. Same developers as FreeSwitch.
We bought a bunch of Dell Precision 5520 laptops, and in order to get their wireless drivers to work Dell said we had to install 2018-04 cumulative update. That cause the same symptom you describe. They boot into the Windows loading screen then a black screen. Even though we have ProSupport Plus, they still don't have a solution for us.
In the future, maybe choose a hardware vendor with better support.

People were waiting for a good Mac refresh in 2016. The macbook pro finally came out but to mixed reviews. The direction Apple is going with their computers is hard to say. More adapters to lug around....Some screens get improvements while others do not...things changed for the sake of change. Why upgrade your 4 yr old computer when the new one has the very same screen?
There will be a bump if Apple spends more of an effort to refresh their computer lineup. I have a 4 yr old 11 inch mac air and I still see no reason to upgrade. I am definitely not in the minority.

Isn't the problem the default usernames and passwords not being changed instead of what ports they are listening on? I know I got an infected raspberry pi because I forgot to change the root password. The pi did need outside access so blocking the ports would have made the device useless to me. Stupid mistake I know but most people don't know. Look at consumer routers and their default usernames and passwords.
How can I decide whether I like a digital wallet or not when the likes of Chase - who is the largest bank out there - doesn't support these new options?
I switched from Evernote years ago. Using keep and liking that they areconstantly improving it. Text editors are fine and I Use pen and paper less and less. Problem is I lose my paper notes too much or they aren't with me when I really need them. Yes, taking s picture of them is something I do but then they aren't searchable.
I also need the notes to sync to every device I use. Those using VI or notepad++ would also need to remember to save those files in a sync folder.
People won't even know the headphone jack is missing until it is in their possession and they are asking their geek relative how they can plug in their hello kitty headphones.
Due to the elements stuff just doesn't last where I live. I went back to using the headphone jack for everything. cables and headphones are much more reliable and much cheaper to replace when they break or go missing.

My iPad Air has no problems playing h.265. Been only encoding with H.265 for a few months now and love the small file sizes. 16gb iPad Air.
