    Not at all, C# and VB.NET are basically the same language(ok so C# has un CLR compliant unsafe code). So they both have the same feature access of the CLR.

    You are very right in this, after all the curvy track is also much more expensive then the straight track. We might see costs as high as 4000$ a mile for curved track but as low as 1500$ for a straight track.

    If you read the silmarillion and other tolkien works Glorfindel has a big part there. For a movie however, especially one many people will see that are not tolkien nerds, it makes sense to cut him.

    People having a hard time taking apple seriously. What with their computers looking like toys. Now I personally like for example the look of the G4 cube, which is cool, but to people they like having that standard beige box. Especially in an office enviroment, I think apple needs to make some computers that look more like computers. In addition how about dropping prices a little bit? 1800$ for a low end 733mhz machine, ridiculous!(save me the but its equivalent to an X, for 1600 I can get a DAMN NICE PC system).

    have this much power? I mean I would understand holding in contempt or fining a large amount but bringing down a computer network? There is something there that reeks of misuse of power.

    Is to make more money for the dealers. I think that we are moving into many diffrent incompatible car computers that all are worked diffrently so a mechanic cant service more then 1 or 2 diffrent types. Bringing about the death of independent mechanics and the rise of the dealerships. Then again I could be paranoid.

    But maybe that's the way to success: start off with a very appealing product, then slowly tighten the screws.

    I remember way back when ebay started you could sell most anything and not give them a credit card number. When they started making profits, they started banning things because they were "immoral"(aka we dont want to take a risk when we are losing money but now that we are making it....). They also used to require almost no security check for anything. Now they require a credit card number, and 10+ feedback for using certain features(hey, I am totally glad they have it). It seems that it just might be a good strategy, start a service thats easy to get into, and once you get people hooked, clamp down.
