I think the thing I'd most like to see is a tempering of the utter insanity that is the TSA. We aren't safer because we have to take off our shoes to board an airplane. We aren't safer because we make pilots go through metal detectors. We aren't safer because we're now required to having a driver's license to fly. We aren't safer because we aren't allowed to take our toothpaste (except in teeny tiny tubes) with us. The TSA spends so much time and energy policing our shampoo container size that it can't help but detract from their ability to actually catch potential bombs. Obama has spoken about changing our foreign response to September 11th, but I'd like to see a change in our domestic response as well. I'd like to see more common sense.
Just to be clear, the New Testament doesn't prohibit the consumption of shellfish. In fact, it basically says, "You don't have to stick to those old rules about what you can't eat anymore" (Acts 10:13).
So to spend time together, I flex time too. My employer is very flexible, and I can take a day off during the week and make it up on Saturday or work 10 hours a day for a 4 day work week. The 10 hours are rough, especially in the winter, until you get used to it.
At the end of the video are two URL's and a Twitter address. Remember when everyone started putting Web addresses at the end of their ads? Are we entering the new age of making sure everyone can Twitter us too now?
Actually, I started out at -1. My karma was Terrible. This is apparently what happens if you have a couple of +5 Funny comments. Now, thanks to this Informative post, my karma went up to Bad.
So there are no morons who modded me down, only a/. karma system that has yet to make sense to me. I just have those moderators who actually read -1 comments to thank.
Bio-fuel from algae is going to be an interesting field. It's easy to grow, difficult to harvest, and takes a lot of it to make into fuel. But it doesn't take up valuable cropland like corn does and really can be grown anywhere you're willing to build tanks.
Solix (http://www.solixbiofuels.com/) is one such company working on the issue who see the potential of building tanks by power plants and then using the CO2 emissions to feed the algae.
Ffft. !Jerry
I love my iMac! My first computer was an Apple IIe.
Why, exactly, do we need bendy computer screens?
See Israeli security for an example of how not to get hijacked. They don't make you take off your shoes, and you get to keep your water bottle.
No, but you do need a photo ID or go through extra screening. If you refuse to show ID, you will not be allowed to board and might be arrested.
A corporation is bigger than just one man.
Oh, geez...

Good luck with asking people not to upload photos during the event.
Two weeks of vacation rent free!

My only regret is that now all we've got is those Fascists at Best Buy.

Aw, what's the use of going through all that trouble if you can't have Bill O'Reilly announce he's gay?
...the FDA will come out with rules about what constitutes "green" like they already have with "light" and "plus."
The only word I understood in this post was "Facebook."
...of course.
Installing Linux on the teacher's computer? What a happy ending!
Won't that only work with alcohol cooled systems?
