What does this mean? I have not seen the CDs at this price in record stores. Does that mean that the record stores buy them at $10? If so, they'll just keep the prices the same and laugh all the way to the bank, won't they?
On trying to reverse it, you don't know if something is a 1 because it used to be a zero, or because it used to be a one that was not the lowest numbered one.
just some neat pictures i found on the web.
i wonder what they are?
i know nothing about them, just thought they looked cool, so i copied 'em to my hard drive.
This point has been brought up before: even if the article is real, Microsoft may just want the common perception to be that they are really scared of Linux. If they portray Linux as a true competitor, then maybe they aren't a monopoly.
thats great if you're a company with the money to spend, but a small company or private consumer isn't going to spend $200 to fix a problem with a $200 piece of software.
Best tech support in the world? #debian and #linpeople on irc.openprojects.net. They correctly diagnosed my problem (use of windows) and helped me get a really nice solution (linux) running.
But Honda doesn't charge you to continue running your '89 as it is now. You only have to pay if you want upgrades or fixes. And if the fix is for something that should not have happened at all, they will fix it free of charge (recall).
This is completely untrue. I have been called "sheltered" on many occasions. So have many of friends. These "sheltered" people are the most stable, understanding, and happy people I know. We understand how these things can be dangerous, and avoid them. Its not living under a rock, its choosing carefully which rocks you are going to overturn.
Plants, like us, need oxygen for their respiration. They photosynthise to create a lot of what they need, and kick out more O2 to the atmosphere than they will use, but there still needs to be a high enough O2 concentration in the atmosphere for them to take some of it back in.
its AOL. They don't do minor versions.
Redhat 8.0 "Best Redhat Ever!"

Redhat 9.0 "Best Redhat Ever!"

Maybe they'll be able to compress their debt to $1 when they go under.
But if you designed it so you could snake new cables through quickly and easily and pull the old out, it could be used forever.
OK, so maybe that's a tad bit optimistic, but you get the point.
Not radioactive, no. . .but
It would fill up the atmosphere with a lot of debris and dust, blocking sunlight and doing not very nice things to your lungs.

So what would be a good language to learn for a beginning mechanical engineering student?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the GPL, but can't you call GPL'ed libraries from your proprietary binary?

I'm not talking about the government having the laws, I'm talking about the government having the software. Sorry if I wasn't clear.
I want a car insurance company like that. I'm sick of paying $1000 per year to insure a car that is worth less than the $500 deductible.
A /.'er with a [port scanner/cd burner/whatever] is okay, because he will use it for good, not evil.
But government with a whatever is not okay, because it will use it for evil, not good?
So you trust yourself, but not the government. Fine, the government trusts itself, and but you.
