At least someone out there not willing to screw the consumer* (better known to the RIAA as pirates). I think that apple is more concerned with it's bottom line than freedoms. More consumers that buy macs create more, and make their own music/art/movies. I think DRM on a mac would be like a kick in the face from apple.
So, you're saying that I should help out the economy buy spending more money on a single purchase, that buying all the parts separately and building it for less than $1000?
I wish I knew where money grew on trees, that would help me help the economy!
That will take care of the HOT part of the Hotrod pc. As for the ROD part, just install anything from Micro$oft, you'll be sure to get the rod from them!

So he came to me with a question about causing a break or failure in the computer that looked like an accident.
I told him flat out, that the best thing about computers is that if one thing breaks, that component can be replaced. It's also the main problem with what he was trying to do.
In the end, I told him to just live with it. Thats the best he could hope for in that case. Tech support might sound like they were picked up off the street, but when money's involved they look really close at what caused the accident.
I get about 4.2 kilobites a second. There's 60 seconds in a minute (4.2k * 60) and 60 minutes in an hour (252k * 60) and 24 hours in a day (15.12mb * 24) = 362.88mb. Now if I wanted to watch a 700mb movie (god help me if it's streamed) it would take me about 2 days non-stop to download at a constant connection. If I was using a calling plan where I had say, $.05 a minute charges on my phone bill, downloading this would cost me ($.05 * 2820 min) = ~ $141 + 3.99
so 144.99 isn't bad for a movie you can't watch, right?
The FTC just annouced plans for natural male enhancement, while planning to work at home making $7000 a week. This is followed later by annoucements of thousands of FTC employees who plan to send off for a credit card to pay for their new college diplomas.
Granted its still early, but come on! So the guy messes up spelling. There is way too many high horses that think spelling is all that counts. This is a cool article on something useful to us old farts with an entire collection of Led Zepplin and Jimmy Hendrix records.
More people are changing from Windows -to- Linux than Unix -to- Linux! Probably because there are more users that are fed up with Windows than those who hate Unix. That seems kinda obvious!
They would be calling me, but since I use DIAL-UP to download all my illegal stuff, I don't bother nobody! Sure, it takes 10-25 times longer to download, but it's possible. It's also less likely to be searched by the **AA's.

With really hairy palms?
I'd much rather have keycards or an embedded watch-keycard. Combined with a 128 digit pin number of course.
...on abrupt and extensive climate change say, August of 2012????
Of course, that's just a rough estimate based on made-up evidence with a full support of studies that were conducted entirely within my head.
"Nothing good can come of this..."

Wow. That was a whole lot of nothing. Cool.
Moderator: Mr. Bush, if you can sum up your political campaign in one word, what word would that be?
Bush: Strategery!
Moderator: Mr. Gore?
Gore: Lockbox!

You can't solve a social problem with technology.
"Broadcast Flags" will be waived...
"Digital Rights Management" will be mismanaged....
Its just a horrible cycle.
Try taking away the mountain dew. It turns into a max-payne style shoot-em-up.
