Making out in the movies is probably already a bad idea (unless you and your partner are exhibitionists) given that the projectionists are looking for people with camcorders using night vision gear.
How do you tell what's an honest mistake? Is an "oopsie" transposition of an address or phone number and mispelling of your name, plus maybe a "spam-armored" email address an honest mistake, or a deliberate effort to be unreachable?
But at least the local access guy can't be totally locked out of the airwaves by the likes of Rupert Murdoch or Ted Turner, so there's some chance he can be heard.
IIRC, this actually involved client-side filters in Outlook Express, which isn't really the same thing. I am amazed that Microsoft lost on this--it opens the door for any spammer (not that Blue Mountain Arts is a spammer) to sue if blocked by any client-side filter turned on by default.
The problem is that all this surveillance won't be used to benefit the ordinary citizen. Do you really think that if your car is broken into near a surveillance cam that (unless you're rich and can afford a drawn out legal process) you'll ever get your hands on the evidence?

Classes in "getting a job" are the domain of truck driving, cosmetology, and welding schools, not universities. However, there should be a placement office outside of campus that provides just the services you describe for current students and alumni.
As a parent and Slashdot reader, I'm concerned that the obsession over Manga, particularly that obtained by violating copyrights, is a dangerous trend among teens and young adults. Once drawn into the hobby (the name of which is an only mildly concealed anagram for "GAy MAN"), young people begin to look for bigger and better fixes, until they're caught in the grip (pun intended) of Hentai tentacle porn.
The U.S. Justice Department should use every means at its disposal, including exporting obscenity laws from less liberal jurisdictions as well as the new criminal copyright infringement laws, to see to it that as few youth are affected by this scourge as possible. Thank you.
Until someone whose life they ruined goes in and shoots up one of their offices. Not that I'd ever advocate violence against agents of such a company, but there is nothing more scary than someone with nothing to lose who's been wronged.
Because it's from Apple, of course--the only company that gets a pass for using DRM, making DMCA threats, crippling software, and the other nasty stuff that Microsoft would be tarred and feathered for in a minute here.
And the nice thing about subsidies, from the government's point of view, is that it makes an easy segway to regulation and monitoring.

Why don't you try reading the page again.
$39.95 is dirt cheap?!
Exactly. Any twelve year old boy who can't get past a filter doesn't deserve to see porn.
Except that these trade-in offers' net price usually ends up being at least as high if not higher than the street price for the item.

Canada as leader of OPEC :).
Sorry :).
Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
No pun intended, I'm sure.

And even with plausible deniability, a search warrant for everything in one's computer is likely to turn up something one can be prosecuted for.

Maybe if the Brazillian official issues a retraction to that effect :).
Shit, and I'm only charging $40. Please tell me you're on one of the coasts :).

Actually, I wasn't curious, though you certainly get props for being willing to put your money where your mouth is, so to speak.
When endorsements that were bought stayed bought.

+5, Insightful--I was getting ready to post the same thing, only less eloquently.
The Apple faithful can tolerate no criticism of Apple. Fortunately, they only have mod points (unlimited in the case of the editors) and not whips.
