    so if Be wins and goes back into business and then folds again (which is a STRONG possibility) will people still blame it on the M$ giant or on the fact that BeOS never caught on to the masses? (as in the amount of users needed to stay alive not as in the amount of people to join a fruitless cult)

    I was feeling bad for the music artists until I turned on MTV "cribs" and saw there houses - I don't feel bad any more and don't care. I still feel bad for napster (yadda yadda) and I never felt bad for the record labels - but when it comes down to it - to few people actually did something (other than complaining in comment field on websites) about this - if you don't like something organize a peition - write in letters yourself - make phone calls - send emails DO SOMETHING other than just wining about the "all mighty empire beating down the white/black/whatever man"

    Not that i agree with there guidlines (which basically say they can say NO to anyone they want) but I wouldnt want to let them send an ear biting boxer into space or some certain rich towel heads with a grudge against humanity.

    i cant get to his site becuase our websense has it blocked but im willing to bet this 18yr old kid isnt even registered to vote

    if you have a problem with the gov (as some do) there are plenty of organizations that you can join/help that organize petitions and voting

    until im arrested for wearing a dkny jacket im not going to start trying to talk big about going postal

    im also sure that this kid will get a nice real dose of anarchy when he goes to prison and learn that "might makes right" actually means "take it in the rear by big bad bubba"

    If your a windows user why would you switch to this OS that cant run your windows apps properly - and if your a linux user why would you switch to this OS that doesnt allow you very detailed configuration?

    I have yet to see why this is better than using redhat with wine and/or win4lin installed?

    not true - i bought redhat 5 when it came out for like 40$ at compusa and i bought suse 6 when it came ou which came with staroffice and applixware(so techinically i paid for star office and appliware as well). since then i download the redhat iso's so i no longer pay for the os. but my initial install of linux was with a paid redhat cd :)

    I'll be the first to admit that i have *aquired* EVERY windows game and program i own, BUT i have PAID for every linux OS and APP at least once.

    so if i go there and start using my cell phone near someone can they arrest me for ES-assault?
    Even if they had a legitimate problem (which i dont believe they do) i say there obvioulsy not as evolved as they should be and to bad for them - life sucks then you get run over by a bus.

    Warning i dont use speelcheeck thats a pretty lame plot - since the show has more of a space rpg (shadowrun meets DandD) feel to it, i think it would have been better to NOT half-ass the game plot and add alot more elements. such as being able to pilot moya and do different missions (like season 2 i beleive where crighton had to infiltrait a peacekeaper station to get some medicine to save areyns life) and so on. the plot of peacekeapers attacking and whatnot - as much as that is something that happens in farscape it shouldbt be the entire game - they could of done so much more.

    i agree, but having worked at kinkos before for over 2 years - they have to have all there employees be dicks about that because they have and had several lawsuits filed against them for copyright infringment for letting people make copies out of books and even profesionally taken photos - ie: you go to the corner photo store to have your family pictures taken - you go to kinkos and make copies - the photo place finds out and files a lawsuite against - you guest it - kinkos - why? because they consider there photos copyrighted. - its stupid but it happens.

    THEFT of network resources? i agree you could say it was theft of network resources but jail time for be clogging up bandwidth? thats rediculous - at most they should have warned him- then fired him if he continued. not waste peoples time with those bullshit charges. when your at work do you ever recieve email form someone outside your company - such as a relative or friend? thats using up bandwidth (small but still) - by your logic thats "THEFT of network resources" ever search the internet in the slow time at your work looking for clothes, cars, whatever - thats "THEFT of network resources" at most you tell people to stop - if they continue after that AND its a SIGNIFICANT drain on the network you block access - as a network administrator its easy to block access to certain web-related content and turn off p2p access. if they are smart/stupid enough to try and go around your blocks you fire them and leave it at that. "hay even i get bored somtimes" - han solo

    having been arrested before - the DA ALWAYS trys to prosecute you with the MAXIMUM amount they can. IE: I insulted a girl at a bar and was charged with sexual batterey - which is a felony, registered sex-offender, and 4 years in prison. Of course i was only guilty of slander-maybe sexual assault at the most since i never actually touched the girl. needless to say 2 lawyers later and alot of $$$ i got the charges all DROPPED - but it was still scary getting charged with that for being a rude ass son of a bitch and not to mention a waste of alot of people time and my money.

    desktop = large, easy to work on (even if you have big hands), lots of room for upgrades and add-ons. LAPTOP=small, hard to work on (with big hands), not much room to upgrade, but looks cool and fits anywhere! why why why?
