I'd pay for it if it works as a well integrated alternative to XBMC or iRiver or similar. If it can produce an eye pleasing htpc experience, and pull movie and tv show profiles from open databases, support many codecs and has well support for Logitech Harmony and other remotes, then sure, I'd pay a bit for it. With the closed nature of the Boxee Box, I have urges to move to an HTPC with a quick interface, lots of eye candy and the ability to pull info from the TV DB and open movie DB.

My only dissapointment in this film, neo didn't seem to be the all powerful superbeing that he was in the end of the second. And at the end of the day you'll still be the loser in the supra, with the slower timeslip (on the road track or race track) saying "But my car makes more horsepower per litre !" Ricers always love to say this, but the fact is, Peak numbers don't tell the whole story. It's the area under the curve, The duration of your rpm range where the motor makes power, Consider that a 8 litre motor will make a huge flat torque curve, it will make big power from idle to redline. It will idle WELL. It will GO regardless of what gear you're in, and to do all this, it only needs to rev to 5500rpm or so. Trust me, when you're running an endurance race, or just out bagging on your car, 5500rpm is a lot friendlier than 9000rpm (s2000) no matter how much engineering goes into it. My old 600cc supersport bike, made around 118 horsepower (at the crank) out of .6 litres. That's just under 200hp/litre ! But guess what, peak power is made around 12,000rpm, and peak torque is just above 10,000. a viper motor can easily be modded to 650 horsepower or more, ever stop to think that maybe a mass produced 650hp car would be a bad idea ? OHV motors have been around a long time too, as were turbos (1930's) so don't think some torqueless fuel injected 2 cam motor that makes good hp/litre is some marvel of spaceage technology. You know why japanese cars are made with such small motors ? cause gas costs triple what it does around here.

Most have interests in sociality (is that a word ?) whereas nerds tend to have interests in that which doesn't expose them tot he social aspect of life, leading them to be easy prey to be picked on I figure.
