    I don't believe that the majority of the linux hacks were due to flaws in the operating system as much as they were probably caused by misconfigurations by the people setting up those systems. Windows, on the other hand, comes with lots of holes built right in for you; no user intervention required!

    HAMs were sending pictures and things before there was an internet over packet. You connect a packet controller to a computer and that to a radio and there were networks of HAMs sending crap to each other (and yes I'm sure there was porn).

    If I told my neighbors' kid it'd be a great idea for him to start shooting up the streets, and he did, any just society would find some punishment for me as well as for the overly impressionable kid.

    Yeah you would probably be punished but no where does it say in GTA that you should go out into real life and start shooting people. A video game is not going to make you go kill some one. These kids probably just said it was because of GTA to get off easier.

    Personally, I blame it on parents not being responsible for thier kids. If parents would be a little more involved in thier children's lives we wouldn't have half the problems we do today.

    There are hardly hundreds of millions of internet users in the world, and only a small percentage of them use P2P file trading apps.

    Why don't you take your own advice and "think through your numbers before you blurt them out like that." According to Nua Ltd. as of September 2002 there were 605 million internet users worldwide and I am sure there are more than that today.

    That's not entirely true, the president does actually suggest a lot of legislation and budget plans (unless they are an idiot like a certain president who started a war over something that doesn't exist). Yes congress has the final say but don't give them all the credit.

    Version 4 is currently in "gamma" release, in other words very stable beta. I use it on my website with no problems (although it does not have the load that a large website would need to stand up to).

    People want something that they can customize.

    You can customize Windows XP's GUI just as much as linux GUIs. There are entire websites dedicated to XP "Visual Styles" that can change the look of everything from the start menu/bar to window title bars.

    P.S. Please don't kill me for defending windows on something.

    If you looked at the sapphiretech card you would realize that it also takes up a pci slot with the bulky heatsinks connected to the heatpipe, so don't count that against the FX. There are many other cooling systems that take that pci slot (in fact my old GeForce 2 has one on it from when I bought it years ago).
