Your right, they dont advocate forcing people not to use Windows. They, like you, just claim that anyone using Windows must be being forced to do so and should be liberated. I choose to use Windows becuase (are you ready for this) it runs the software I want to use. Linux, BSD, Macintosh, Solaris, IRIX, BeOS, Palm etc do not. Yet I get Linux advocates telling me I should use Linux all the time. Dispite it not running the apps I want and in many cases dosn't have anything even close to what I need a computer to do.
Your honor, we the prosecution intend to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that our clients mama is not so fat that when she sits around the house, she site AROUND the house.
GPL lets you make changes with the authors permission, which is granted by virtue of using the GPL. Microsoft lets you make changes if you get permission as well, you just dont like how you have to get permission to make those changes just as myself and others dont like the GPL becuase it forces us to give permission.
" They don't allow any modifications or derivatives of the schema without permission."
How GPL like.
"You are not required to accept this License, since you have not signed it. However, nothing else grants you permission to modify or distribute the Program or its derivative works. These actions are prohibited by law if you do not accept this License. Therefore, by modifying or distributing the Program (or any work based on the
Program), you indicate your acceptance of this License to do so, and all its terms and conditions for copying, distributing or modifying the Program or works based on it."
No, they find the bad things, root around, do what ever they want and then claim to have only patched them. Its like comming home to find a plumber in your living room saying he fixed the sink. If he was not invited in your home he should not be there.
Seteve Jobs told me so in a fever dream I had after snorting cool aid mix. Ecery product and revision ofa product Apple releases is perfect and can never be improved on.
CNet first stopped reviewing shareware and in fact removed all of there old reviews. Then they wanted to charge me large sums of money to host my shareware. Thus you can no longer get Net Weasel from CNet. Expect the same thing from MP3.Com.
No, the moral crime is removing control of the IP from its creator. Or do you feel that violation of the GPL shouldn't have any penelty since you are not depriving the creator of a program from anything?
All you need to do is find a furry tooth Linux geek and eat his brain, thus gaining his ability to put up with install instructions that include the phrase "fix compiler errors".
Most DDoS attacks do not use up your bendwidth but instead overload your server. A good firewall with statefull packet checking can reduce the risk of such attacks. Hell, my little Netscreen 5XP at home does this very well.
I'll be sure to tell the next person I meet that had a security hole exploited by some script kiddie who downloaded the 1337 cracking script of the week that their better off and in fact where not harmed at all becuase only by not making exploits well known before a fix is avilible can they be harmed. I'm sure they'll understand.
Sort of like RFID, unless you think that the NANO bots sample your DNA and send it to the centeral authority station for proccessing. If the stores and government WANTED to, they could track what bills where used to buy what merchansdise and if they have your information (like Radioshack etc try to get) they could tie you to the goods and bills.
Note that they COULD do this, just like they COULD use RFID in the same way. All RFID is realy is a serial number.
The standard Symbian package does not include OpenGL. Thus games for the NGage that make use if it will not run on anything else (for now). Even the Nokia 3650, wich is almost the same hardware will not run these apps.

The problem was that they provided around 10% more battery life at around 50% the performance.
Ah, the 404Error interface skin. Simple and elegant.
And they charge you for an omlet with has browns, toas, sausage, bacon, ham, biscuts and gravy. For the price I could buy three chickens and two eggs.
It's is it is is it?
Tell that to my buddy who lost his server man. Did he get a parade? No, people spat on him when he got back form the last SCO development seminar.

The iCube was WAY smaller then this new IBM system. And Apple wouldn't lie about the iCube being a super computer now would they?

Indeed, however anti-Microsoft trolls seem to be embraced here.
What I miss most about Ricochet was how the modem made my fillings hurt when used in the south of market (3 & 20th) area of San Francisco.

Sure it is, in the same way that making cop killer bullets is balistics research.

Do you know that every dollar bill has a serial number on it? They could find out I spent that dollar on a soda!
You know I don't think that Mr. Eisner is trying to pull copies of Disney movies off of Kazza. As such I bet he's jsut fine with the restrictions.

You'r welcome. In addition, both Shane and Old Yeller die.
