    is the same as the problem with OS/2. People dont want to re-write their applications for native support. I expect very few apps to be codeed for Hammer because its 32bit compatiblity is so good. An application devloper can write for old 32bit x86 and target Hammer and x86 at the same time. Just like devloeprs could once write applications for Windows 3.1 and have them run on Windows and OS/2. Not that the CPU wont do well, but I dont expect it to ever get the kind of support it wants.

    I have never lurked around dark tunnels running from ghosts and eating pills I find on the ground. I have never had the urge to strut up and down the street making Boop Boop noises. I have never felt the need to grab a BFG and go hunting demons. Video games have yet to affect my real life at all (other then reducing the amount of time I spend there). If you don't want your kids to play these games don't let them. Do not turn to society as a whole to police what your kids can do.

    They are assuming that people who use a product should have paid for it. Stealing something because you wouldn't pay for it anyway in no way makes it less of a theft. If you use the software you owe the company money for it.

    But Microsoft, like most console makers, is losing money on the hardware sale. They expect to make money on the sale of software, so a system that lets people run software that wont profit MS means that they lose money overall.

    I know it makes me want to start playing around again. I did some work in high school invloving radio isotopes and their effects on plant life. I had a nice glass and lead container to test with and made a few funky plants (real high mutation levels).

    Morrowind has 500 hours of "pick up item A take to location B". Sorry, this got old after the first day. The world in Morrowind, while nice to look at, is devoid of any real content. They should have just updated the graphics for Dagger Fall.
