    Sorry, you and I both know that if some one donwloads it, even if they do so with the intention of buying it as well, many wont get around to shelling out the cash. I say this as a software devloper that has had one too many products fail due to rampant piracy.

    So if one week justifies theft, how long would it take to justify murder? I'm just trying to figure out the sliding scale of morality based on time you seem to use.

    Every place I've worked that had a "we own your thoughts" clause also had a place to list prior work that was excluded from the contract. If he realy had this idea prior to signing he should have listed it as an exception.

    Mine is based off the cPCI board found in the 1U netra series. So not an enterprise server, just a 333mhz ultra sparc with two cPCI expansion slots (quad nic and scsi cards installed right now).

    So it is, wonder when they put that there. For what its worth, it only takes about 5 seconds if you type "SunRay Server Software" into Google. Guess I have no reason not to get my CompactPCI Ultrasparc server running then.

    No they are not. If they where the same thing I could compete for the jobs being outsourced. Since I cant, this is not free trade. Free trade means that no one gets excluded.

    Doom3. Nice engine. Some day I hope to see a game made that uses it.

    Care to back that up with some sort of logic? Tell you what, explain what DRM is on my Windows Mobile PDA and mo, the ability to play back DRM files is NOT DRM in and of itself unless you think that Real Player for Linux makes Linux DRM as well.

    Because they would have to print new DVDs each time they updated their drivers? Also, what if you're not getting office, should they have to keep diferent DVDs for each chunk of hardware/software they sell? Better yet, what if you dont have a DVD drive?

    Huh, when one of my Dell servers breaks there is a tech on site to fix it in under 12 hours. Thats pretty good support in my book.

    Dont know where he got it from then. As far as I know, the only "free" version of Qnx is the demo boot floppy.

    Since most PocketPC systems have IR built in you could just stop there. Or you coul just spend 20$ and buy a remote. Why the hell would you want to drag an iPod into this I dont know. You may as well turn your car, toaster oven, or microwave into a remote.

    Customer or user? Customers pay for a service and expect a level of support for their dollar. Most pople who have Hotmail acounts are just users, who pay nothing and should not expect anything back.
