Unless you like endless big brother (which apparently is restarting soon, god dammit!), ITV Play and the crap they have on the commercial channels, the current system is optimal imho. Sure, some claim they watch Sky TV or cable exclusively for a while, but sooner or later everyone realises that brain cells need companions and so end up switching back to watching mainly terrestrial channels.

It seems to be more based around the common issue of reader competence and the fact that different many unrelated editors inevitably produce articles which are not coherent in this way. The problem remains that the only way Wikipedia articles can become suitable for a range of readership levels (as the editors inevitably write for) is to make the articles large and bloated.

As the article states, there is no way this problem can be directly overcome while Wikipedia remains in its current form.

If say the AACS encyption key was "6" out of a possible number system 1 - 9, and IP addresses were also 1 digit long, then I reckon you would probably get away with it though.

The fact that (initial over-pricing aside) it has increased in value (all currencies only have a value relative to other currencies) against the Dollar (and Yen) proves it has not been quite the failure your post implied.

Combined with our current massive foreign deficit and the slowdown in the economy, the weak dollar is not good at all. Sure, it does help our (i.e. USA) exporters and the picture is complicated as always, but it is really hurting the rest of us.
