    this is probably just another play for recognition. i had never heard of Overture before this, so i clicked the link to see what they were. woo.. another alta-yahoo-whatever. they're probably hoping to get the traffic, and maybe get some of google's loot if they're lucky.

    open cable systems are nice but what we really need are high power UBW satellite systems that have bandwidth equal to or greated than the measly things offered by cable and DSL systems. We have been stuck at (relatively)( low speeds for nearly ten years now.While i'm not a fan of big gov't, it would be nice if they came in and helped fund emerging network technologies.

    i guess there is probably too much of a national security risk in high speed wireless, right now though.

    I envy you. I have been playing D2 for almost 2 years now. LOD now, of course. And I can't stop. Well... except for a short layover for Elite Force about a year ago. Love the trek, baby!

    I use CI host, which includes a perl webmail script along with the pop3.

    the 3 gigs of web space and the unilmited transfer is nice, too...
