Consider the Playstation. There are still games being released for that old beast.
Am I the only one not blinding by the horrible quality of the Playstation? The only benefit the thing had in it's time was the storage medium allowing tons of crap to be stuck on a CD. If Nintendo wasn't so strict with its blood/gore/mature rating crap...
Just not a big enough part of the dumbed down American public, I guess.

Technically it's an orbiter. Economically, it's a disaster.
Fool. The space program wasn't intended to turn a profit.

Think of all the innovations and other benefits from the space program over the years...
An associates or bachelors degree goes A LONG WAY.
I went straight from high school to making $34,000 a year. They (teachers, parents, etc) told me it wouldn't happen. I didn't have the patience to go through any more school I wish I had stuck around. Sure, I can get an MCSE or what not, which I'm working on, but I'd feel alot better about my job security (and salary) if I had a degree.
Once MS gets Dungeon Siege, Mech Warrior, Asheron's Call, Age of Empires, and Combat Flight Simulator networked.....they'll get all the geeks to buy XBoxen

We've got the Dell's with the insane NVIDIA chipset to do 3D presentations, and they don't skip a beat. They get warm, but they don't act like the Toshibas. A colleague sent his back (he ordered from PC Mall and they were cool about returning it for that problem. I do believe he ended up talking to Toshiba in the end.
Mac support. As it stands, Microsoft has not recouped its development costs on any release of Office for the Mac. This should not come as much of a surprise, as they offer steep bulk/site discounts to educational institutions on these products.
Microsoft is simply doing Apple a favor, and keeping Apple as a 'competitor'.
Gameplay is not the sole factor in determining the value of a game, presentation is just as or even more important.
There are PLENTY of BAD Atari games. PLENTY. Any goon could write games for them.
I'd rather play Galaga, Dig Dug, and Donkey Kong over 90% of the shit thats on the market now. I like a few new games, but most of them are as repetitive and uninnovative as the crash of the 80's.
Although they DID write BASIC and other language for a ton of machine, they didn't 'build their own computers'.
You're thinking of Jobs and Woz

Throwing in a free XBOX game of your choice, and the DVD capability.
High ground, drop rocks on anybody you don't like (Heinlein)
You could drop a fucking Range Rover on the earth, it'll burn up to the size of an grain of salt before it hits.
Not to say that a 2,000 degree grain of salt falling at an incredible rate wouldn't hurt anyone..
The shuttle wasn't/isn't intended to his the moon.

NT was well before 92-94....What kind of hick district only has 3 schools??
Go to a 2 year college, or a 4 year.

Burned into a screen is given a whole new

Office runs on OSX
Sun's StarOffice 6.0, which will be released on May 21, will cost a measly $75.95. That's less than a quarter the cost of Microsoft Office.
If it's not free, the only way it will be able to compete with Office is if it is 10 times as good.
Once this guy makes eyeballs out of jell-o, and fools a retina scanner, I'll shake his hand!

The real battle in 1995 (actually) was 133mhz vs 150mhz
Bus speed vs CPU speed! hahahahah!
Lets have Apple fix it! Just because nobody in the QA department would admit to listening to Celine Dion.......
Throw in a Linux kit, and I'll take it!
