God knows that he and Morgan Webb were the only things worth watching on that sinking ship of a channel...
Know what's funny? Is when Kevin started to replace Leo that's when I said the ship was sinking. So the kid knows how to Google all the lasted script kiddie gimmicks. He's barely entertaining, given when he's pissed and visibly annoyed on the show it's very entertaining. Once he got replaced by the marketing lemming cute boys and girls it was all over for g4-TechTV for me.
Obviosuly the results of my in home Yeti program hasn't logged yet the hairy beast I woke with up with on Sunday morning post a drunken night at the bar.
..three days later and three days behind schedule for getting the new "lightning fast Gentoo Linux box" up, our hero finds himself on the street preaching the rightous words of a "professional admin Linux distro" to Toothless George.
After nearly spending half an eon watching the extended versions of LOTRs and comparing the text of our beloved JRR Tolkein to each and every sound and syllable of the movies, I am writing you in hopes that you deliver to me this very Christmas the following gifts:
1. A life
2. Liv Tyler
3. Liv Tyler naked
4. The Extended version of Dune on DVD
5. The Dune books
Agreed. In fact I use the tried and true Debian formula when it comes to purchasing new video technology. That's why I enjoy my video of Dirty Dancing every weekend on betamax.
...vehicle ID numbering system (VIN) will soon run out of unique numbers
Ewww, ewwww...quick, rename it VINv6, adopt the change, talk about it for years on end, scare folks with the apocolyptic visions of a VINv4 disaster, implement sparingly, even have some Finish dude incorporate it into his own car line he started from scratch(obviously stolen from Ford ideas) and have absolutely NO ONE use it due to their legacy cars!

Pipes and regular expression.
Sure, that's like saying a magnifying glass can be used to find your lost class ring in the playground. Sure it will work, but extreme under-kill and a waste of time.
Obviously you don't do security for a large network.

How about I "proactively" give you a knuckle sandwich!
Is anybody proactively going after these sites with their "l33t sk1llz" when they run across them in their own mailbox?

Yeti@home has yet to yield conclusive results.
Obviosuly the results of my in home Yeti program hasn't logged yet the hairy beast I woke with up with on Sunday morning post a drunken night at the bar.
Although he/she and I did have a great time.
It takes me longer than 3 minutes just to type the WEP key from my router into my client!
Yeah I know, it takes me forever to remember how to spell kwyjibo as well!
Novell Linux Desktop 10?When did the nine previous versions come out?
Novell's CEO is a huge Bo Derek fan, duh.
"Black Hole" is 9th level, I'd guess, so the maxxed out fireball won't tell us more than we already know (that they're probably past 18th.)
Looks like somebodys not getting laid tonight....or EVER!
I really hope it's because of a Natalie Portman nipple slip.
Ummmm...*cough* *cough*...could you kindly point me to the area where this tragedy of the princess slipping on a nipple occurred?
Strictly for CSI:Naboo reasons...of course.
Gentoo All the way. nuff said

Dear Santa,
After nearly spending half an eon watching the extended versions of LOTRs and comparing the text of our beloved JRR Tolkein to each and every sound and syllable of the movies, I am writing you in hopes that you deliver to me this very Christmas the following gifts:
1. A life
2. Liv Tyler

4. The Extended version of Dune on DVD
5. The Dune books
Sincerely,
The LOTR Nitpicker
Gert Mittring, 38, needed only 11.8 seconds to calculate the 13th root of a 100-digit number in his head
In a related bit of odd coincidence to this story, 11.8 seconds is the longest Gert has ever talked to a single female at any one given time.
Shall we play a game?
Yeah, how 'bout let's see how fast the obvious Wargames quote gets posted after an article about chess on Slashdot?
You win!
...please now "redirect" your eyesight from our wallets to the extended middle finger on my right hand.
Easy: stick to what's proven.
Agreed.
In fact I use the tried and true Debian formula when it comes to purchasing new video technology.
That's why I enjoy my video of Dirty Dancing every weekend on betamax.
But it feels so much better without!
Just wait till you actually have a partner!
Without ten more years of new Star Wars, whatever would fans have to complain about?
Not sure, but I'm holding my ground with bountiful ammunition like Alien Vs Predator.
What I hate even more is when great movies are quickly rushed to print to coincide with their theatrical release.
Imagine my disappointment when I saw that some guy named JR translated the fine on-screen presentations of Lord of the Rings into trashy paperbacks!
...this is a novel which deals in part with the synthesis of and culture surrounding LSD.
Does the authors special edition version have perforated lickable pages?
Bill Gates legally changing his first name to Penis to sound more Finnish.

I'll give up my Athon 64 bit chip when they pry it from my cold, dead fingers!!!
Remember the good ole days when you went behind a tree for diaster relief?
Those damn kids and their new technology!

...what security tools/applications/functionality are lacking (or non-existent) in the open source world?
How about an open source Security Information Management System (SIMS) Description, Article .
Something that lets us intergrate, collect, and correlate what the other great tools (Nessus, Snort, Nmap) find.
Slashdot: what questions should I ask my prospective boss?
"Do you have any issues with sleeping your way to the middle?"
