Certainly one way to go. I bought a used Epson C82 with this in mind. For now, i'll just refill the carts i have, using the ink kit and cartridge zapper i bought.
Cause i was good all year, and i get to buy a NEW one.:) I want a gen 3 w/ a dock if i can get it. Maybe Steve will start including the dock w/ the 10GB. We'll see how cute the new ones are.
So i'm gonna see what the Stevenote has to offer. (Steve will be pissed if the cat IS out of the bag).
I wouldn't mind having something to listen to while i'm at the cafe...so lets say they do get released, got budget for that...but lets also say Steve DROPS THE PRICE on the rest of the line? Could be fun deciding what to buy. I'm walking out with SOMETHING...:)
'New mini-iPods, and regular iPods priced to be more popular than ever'.:))
No sh*t...I want one BAD. Imagine being able to scan in artwork, sticking in a blank PCB, then 'etching' it with this thing. G10 is good all the way up to 2GHz. I also know 2 guys that share custody of one, using it to churn out laser cut model airplane kits. (as 2 seperate companies in colorado). These guys also make their own laser tubes. Just too sweet.
One of the first things i get when i win the lottery.
one a 333MHz pushed to 500, and a 633 pushed to 950 (both Celerons). Both of these ran for a long time at elevated voltages (but NOT at max), but eventually the math coprocessor section bit the dust doing Seti. (they ran at average temperatures). If you overclock AND use higher voltages to do so, you MAY have a failure down the road. No more Seti for me. (and yes, that 950, and the 3.0 software could crank some units.)
I was thinking about putting up a dos/Win95 system so I can play some old games i have, like Warloards III, and hopefully Ultima Underworld The Stygean Abyss (requires EMS!). I have a nice modern system (AMD3000+,1GB ram,nVidia 4600+), and over 3/4 of the time Civilization III won't even load. (what a stupid loader).
I have one, and when it was running low THE FREAKING BALL *LEFT* THE BARREL!!! I'm not hard on pens either. Sure, i had a replacement, but it sure makes me wonder if it's gonna throw the ball and leak.
I have the red variant (free w/ CPU purchase), and it's not a bad pen. The cartrage is a little small for the barrel, which gives it a slightly sloppy feeling, and the ink isn't the greatist, but it's good for paying the bills. I'm wondering if there's a better, gel ink replacement cartrage. Still, if i get it offered with another purchase, i'll get it again. Can't beat it for FREE.
and it says it on the page as well...
"Thank you for using Microsoft products".:):):):):)
I know...it's a little mean:) That's one reason i'm on a Mac.

Lithium batts can catch fire if overcharged, and can explode if shorted. I know of one guy whowas charging a lithium pack, and at some point the charger reset (power glitch?), and when it did, it set the cell count WRONG. this caused a garage fire. Newer cells will overheat and 'puff up', rather than explode, but if you use Li cells, you need to ba familiar with what you are doing. I think most of the dangers are lessened, and most of these accidents can be chocked up to not advanced enough technology.
There are guys getting 20+ minute flights on model helis using Li batts.
Imagine out in the boonies, and some tornado comes along and wipes out an entire trailer park. Hams are usually the first ones in to establish communications and let the world know what's going on. (happens all the time) Now...imagine the guy trying to dig a signal out of THAT mess. I wouldn't want to do it, and it could, in some cases, result in lost lives. There are better ways to distribute bandwith, and this one isn't it.
And yes, I am a Ham.
GET A GOOD CHARGER! I have a really expensive one that tells me voltage, and how much my batteries charged, but a POOR charger will cook your cells. I had a Panasonic, of the type you find at Costco, etc. JUNK. It managed to ruin, over time, a set of 4 1100 mAH AAs. May i recommend a Maha MH-C401FS, and the batteries of your choice? The 204F is a good second choice. I happen to like NEXcell, and i have both AA and AAA. I disagree w/ the person below that says they can't get enough charge to warrent buying AAAs. I run my Palm 105 just great on them. Plurge and get a good charger.
I *don't* need Viagra ( I just forwarded a bunch to the FTC), and i sure as HELL don't need some @$$hole WAKING me at 7:40 in the morning, for the SECOND time (after i dumped his first attempt), to sell me stuff i don't need. Call me unsolicited, and be prepared to get your head ripped off. What a shame if the entire marketing industry took a downturn. Wake me up, YOU'RE buying breakfast.
I just bought an ink set and a chip resetter for Epson, and it works like a charm. A little googling goes a long way to find the right stuff.

can write Shakespeare, then 1000 hampsters, connected to a BIG MAC computing cluster, running GarageBand should be good for a few Grammys.
Sure there will...as soon as the RIAA sues her.

Quick...contact Captain Scarlet!
It's just a flesh wound!!! :)
Hell yes. Doug @ Mountain Models and another guy in the area turn out entire lines of kits this way.

Maha...204f is available as charger only and is a 3 hour charger, or the 401FS, better but pricier.

Gas will be too expensive to buy soon anyway.
This was a Cowboy Bebop episode. we'll have to purify your soul first ...
on the SE or SE30 (SE i think), when there is a hard drive problem, the drive light blinks SOS...the 'O' is a little drawn out, but it's readable.
and i'll bet they got the idea from the french.
it's PC104.
