Jeez, no offense, but just because snopes lists something as true/false/indifferent doesn't prove shit. Yes, I'm sure they've verified things, but they're not the end all.
McBr*de will - after this is all said and done - get a huge bonus and actually get a good job somewhere in the Windows development community.

This reminds me of a proM$ website some guy had back in 1995ish. It was url'd Deon95.com (or something like that). It's layout was pure Windoze 95 and all the goodness that came with it (hold my hair while I gag!). The guy eventually took it down (perhaps M$ bullied him?)
It says go ahead and implement Linux at your site. We (the open source community) think these charges are *so* baseless, we'll pay for your defense. 123123

Wow, it sounds like you're Cisco/Microsoft certified. It's not about knowing your shti, it's about knowing how to translate test"ese" into correct answers.
That's what I thought. I really don't want a computer restored to factory configuration, I want a clean install (just windoze, Java, JBuidlder and maybe some anti-virus software).
Thanks.
... I have built my computers from parts for years, however it looks like my next box *might* be a Dell. I need 1 question answered:
If I choose to purchase an operating system with a new computer, is it going to be actual Microsoft CD or some "welcome To Dell. Here's Your Shovelware CD".
I ask because a new box will run Debian and I'd probably opt to install Windoze on an old (non-Dell box).
This is slashdot! We're wireless you insensitive clod! :-)
Are you saying World Trade Center guy is a fraud? THE HUMANITY!
I'm a KDE guy, but my favorite apps are Galeon, gFTP, Evolution. Can't stand Konquerer & KMail.
Yikes, ya should've read the emacs/vi civil war we had on nmlug.org last week. It was one for the ages (whatever that phrase means)!

How do you spell Maryland in hackerese? m@r\/l@nd.... hell, I don't know.
Just run unstable. Really, it's *very* stable - at least the apps I run are.
What part of 'Fastest Growing' don't you understand? Oh, and yes, I'm Debianese. :-)

Everything will be ok once low tide in the Gusav Sea occurs.
I still have electronic lawn darts! :-)

Dear Doublecl*ck, We block your popups because we don't want to see them. Signed Earthings,
