This is somewhere between an easter egg and a surprise. Beating the Call of Duty: World at War single player mode and being patient enough for the credits to end unlocks a mini-game: Zombie Survival that you can play solo or co-op with upto 3 other players.
Lot of fun, adds to the game value (and kinda apologizes for the quality of multiplayer offering).
Found out the game mode purely by accident after I beat the single player mode and went to make a sandwich...A lot of gamers knew it and it was all over the web but I was oblivious to that part which made it a nice surprise.
No if you bought a book and then handed out each word in the book, then it's not copyright infringement. Like if you print out this post and pass out each character of the English alphabet, as much as I will hate you, I cannot sue you *and* win.
You are a fucking idiot. The problem is not "people will pay for naked pictures of teen-age girls, teen-age girls are going to get their pictures taken". The problem is "people will pay for naked pictures of teen-age girls, teenage girls are being forced to have their pictures taken". Like I said, you are a fucking idiot.
There is also "Practise what you preach". Sure the US can tell the world how to fix their problems but only after they've come clean and fixed their own shit first. Sending in troops can only do so much.
If you didn't get it, a drug addict would sound more convincing and more likely to succeed in having their kids off drugs if they are clean in the first place.
- I've known several geeks over a very long time taking the effort to differentiate the words cracking and hacking. This joke of a slashdot posting laughs at me.
So an idiot used a pirated DLL to get rid of a nagging screen and somehow this means Windows 7 has draconian DRM. Jesus Christ...I meant to say, fucking idiots. Being in bed with RIAA? What sound card? what drivers? what the fuck?
It's not being as much wrong as it's limited. I cannot use more than 3.5 GB of RAM with WxP. I cannot currently have DX10 with WxP (screw that hacked implementation). Windows XP is a decent OS, Windows 2000 is a pretty good OS but it's time to move on. I am hoping Windows 7 will be a good replacement.
The most important part of your post: as long as what they already have works well enough for their needs..
I work with Linux boxes all day and my personal laptop runs Linux only but I do have a gaming machine that runs XP so I can play some of the latest PC games. I do however need to upgrade the machine and after bad-mouthing Vista for 2 years, I am finally going to install Vista Ultimate on a pretty beefy machine this weekend.
I want to wait for Windows 7 but I want something now - DX10 support more specifically and support for 4-8GB of RAM and neither XP (screw the 64bit XP) nor Linux can help me there. I have a need that only Vista can address (as fucked up as it sounds).
The funny thing though is the hardware is pretty much as new as Jan.2009 (PhenomX4, GTX280 and oodles of 1066MHz RAM) and that should be sufficient to run Vista well while Microsoft claimed back in 2005 that all 2005 hardware should be able to run Vista "well".
Do you know what beta software means? Microsoft warns about not using 7 Beta to replace your current OS / daily PC environment. Interesting question but pretty dumb if you replace your current supported environment (even if it's Vista) with a Beta product and expect stuff to keep working.
Number One is incredibly lame. To access the device on XP (used this since 98), Hit Windows + Pause/Break and click on Hardware.
Number Two: How about you use the fucking uninstaller that the program came? Faster than loading a list of 500 installed programs
Number Three: What?
Number Four: How about you don't open an idiotic page (myspace user?). Click Mute on that page? This looks like a sound driver thing - Per application mute is not bad but that's not a compelling "omg vista responds" reason.
I was really expecting a high quality release for the PC after what they did for the PS3 (crashing issues with data being handled the way it was by Gamespy servers). I am a huge GTA fan. I used to play the 10 minute trial of GTA on my PC as a high schooler and when I finally played GTA III, GTA:VC(best GTA imo) on the PC, I was sold enough to buy a TV and a PS2 to play GTA:SA.
I then bought GTA:SA for the PC, beat it. I bought GTA:4 for the PS3 and then for the XBOX360 and beat it on both (different ways of doing things was fun). I was hoping to play it again on the PC just for the improved aiming mechanics but this is a major disappointment. Cmon Rockstar, you guys can't be failing like this:(
1. If you are an "avid" MMMoer, you wouldn't be cheap (and looking for free trials). 2. You had to pay 5$ for the pre-order and get in the Open beta program. I did.
Fact Two: People (especially teenage girls) respond differently to harassment and humiliation.
Fact Three: The fact that I have to state the obvious here shows how remarkably narrow your opinion is. Bottom fucking line is if this one had stayed out of that girl's life, that girl would still be alive today. Maybe she would've killed herself over a guy ditching her in the future but speculation and opinions belong in BFE. Thanks.
1. Usable QWERTY keyboard - texting heaven 2. 3G speeds in my area are ~900kbps 3. The browser feels faster 4. I can upgrade/replace the battery 5. I can put in an 2/4/8/16 gig micro SD 6. Speaker sounds louder 7. Free wifi at T-mobile hotspots 8. Voice activated dialing works decently 9. It's from T-Mobile and I don't have to deal with the evil pricks that are ATT/Cingular (was an ATT customer for almost 7 years)
Cons:
1. The battery life sucks at the moment 2. Dearth of apps (naturally) 3. The phone gets warm after a few minutes of usage 4. Not a con for me but no stereo bluetooth 5. Complete lack of accessories from T-mobile 6. Gmail goes down, you might have issues from the tight integration (forgot pattern to unlock phone? input your gmail info) 7. The phone has a cheap plastic feel and doesn't feel as solid as the iphone (especially when opening the back panel). 8. 3G coverage is spotty
Both weigh and measure about the same (comparison with a first gen iphone). Both are quad-band.
Mmm let's see 1. rapist? no 2. murderer? no 3. child molester? no 4. PoW? no - Hai guyz we don't have an option for piecefull dimnushtratur - let's put him as terrorist? ok cool? coool!
I agree with you completely. I played the original atleast 4 times but I couldn't play the sequel more than a couple hours. Deux Ex also happens to be the only game I've purchased twice (whipped out the CD last month and found it was cracked - thankfully the annoying D2D had it for download). The graphics of Deus Ex look horrendous but the gameplay and the storyline (not to mention the awesome music) are really engaging even today.
I'll wait for my 2$ apple store credit to show up. The article (sigh ipaper, cannot copy and paste) says the contractual obligation isn't just two years but five years if you count the data services/plan. What gives?
Also Googling for "iphone antitrust ruling" gives interesting results. (Rambus and MS? wth?).
I have all three consoles: 360, PS3 and the Wii and I find the PS3 and the 360 have matured well in the current generation of consoles and the Wii frankly has been found lacking.
Don't get me wrong - the Wii is an awesome social/party attraction but the lack of space, the hard to remember Wii code to add friends, minimal online aspect and not as many games (PS3 is snickering as I type this) have left me a little disappointed. (Only because it was so bloody freaking hard to get a Wii).
From the article:
- Nintendo of America Inc. today announced it has come up with a resolution for the dearth of storage on its Nintendo Wii gaming console -- a proprietary, 2GB SD card.
Sorry, this is not big enough
- According to Computerworld's resident Wii gaming expert, editor Ken Gagne, a 2GB card will hold about 60 games.
Fire him - what kind of games are we talking about?
- Last month, Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo U.S. operations, piqued gamers' interest by saying that his company's answer to the storage issue would be "better than" a hard drive, but he offered no details.
Okay....
The Wii is still fun but for serious gaming, PC, PS3 and the 360 trump Wii in more than one ways.
Nintendo: If it has to be proprietary, please make it 4-8GB. Please don't charge a ridiculous price because it's proprietary. Please don't cry when someone breaks open the proprietary protocols. I get the plumber but please bring out some games that do not involve Mario and oh, why don't you go and improve that's sports package you gave with the console? I'd actually pay for a full-fledged tennis game.
I've had an ATI X1950 Pro for 3 years now and while the card works great, the newer games render it near obsolete. So yes, I can have a card forever but what good is that going to do me if I need to upgrade anyway?
Resale value would suck and why would anyone want to spend 50$ on a 3 year old card when they can get a 1 year old "better" card for 90$. (I pulled the numbers out of thin air but you get the idea).
Well, the potential's always there...

The average American will find it hard to survive in India or Russia and I am not even talking about the language barrier.

Bullshit.

Tons of opinions here and no facts.

Or Quality is Job Service Pack One (or Two, or Three)
Well, it looks like someone has still some growing up to do.
