"I wish it had even more built-in USB ports, but six is a good start"
Am I the only one with so many wires connected to their PC that it looks like a plate of spaghetti? 4 ports is more than enough on the computer after that I found it's better to use a hub. I have one on the other desk where my printer and scanner are and one by the keyboard for my MP3 player and Digital Camera.
Maybe more standard movies outside the adult film industry will start using this feature. Many movies are filmed using dozens of cameras and then only one shot is used in the movie. I think a lot of people would like to view certain key parts of a movie from diffrent angles (Again standard movies not adult movies)
Unisys has been in the computer buisness from the beginning long before Microsoft was around. After the fallout between Microsoft and IBM, Unisys became deeply involved with Micorsoft providing servers and direct tech support for Microsoft products. They are not as fortunate as IBM to have jumped off the boat long ago. Their siding with Microsoft because they have so much invested, if everyone went to Linux tommorow Microsoft would not be the only company to suffer.
ATI makes good products but I still have to give the nod to NVIDIA because of their all-in-one drivers that still support older cards. I installed the latest drivers on a 3 year old TNT chipset (Diamond Card) and actually noticed a performance gain. So if you are using an older (NVIDIA TNT/VANTA on up) video card, try the latest drivers(Detonator 28.32) they offer improvements across the board.
Certainly it was not the individuals personal problems that caused his suicide it was the video game. Certainly it was not my lack of attention to my son that caused his suicide it was the music he listened to. Certainly it was not my fault that I spilled the hot coffee on myself it was McDonalds for serving hot coffee. Certainly I should not be responsible for my own actions.... So label the game addictive, label the coffee hot, label the music bad and pay me a few million dollars for my mistake
Not always when the Jurassic Park boxed set came out with an extra DVD they let owners who purchased the three DVD's seperate get the extra disc and special box free ($3.00 shipping).
For those who watched. Did anyone else want to reach inside their TV and smack Halle Berry, not just for completely losing it, but for thanking her lawyer.
I guess one good side of being a PC user is that price goes down while the performance goes up. Although no one believes that the iMac price increase is due to manufacturing costs. If people will line up to pay $1800, why not charge them $1900 or more. It's nice to have a strong following especially if you can make them pay for it.
I was able to get the Pioneer DVR-A03 last year at work. I use it to archive data that can easily be read on other machines that only have a DVD reader. It works the same as any other CDR\CDRW drive, infact most the work I do on it is burning CD's. But I have been dealing with 1Gig+ files and needed more capacity. I did not like the fact that DVD+RW has major compatibilty issues (as stated in the article) and with DVD-R discs around $5.00 or less, it just seemed like the natural upgrade path from CDR. Pioneer is releasing a newer version (DVR-104) at around $400.00 but they are still a bit out of reach for me for home use.
Although it only comes with a basic drawing program and a monochrome screen, many can be found for less than $10. Also nobody at work has noticed that my PDA is really a Game Boy Advance.
Has squaresoft announced a port for Final Fantasy XI on the ASCI White computer yet? Although I guess a simulation of nuclear destruction is about as final a fantasy as you can get

For those who have not already checked it out, IBM's little tank simulation program for teaching java, RoboCode has hit version 1.0

What is destroying Video Games:
High Prices - $50 a game is just crazy
Poor Game Play - Excellent game play is the core of any good game
Steep Learning Curves - I may just be old but some games are near impossible
People Like Me Complaining About Them - Word of mouth

Evertime an article about how bad Kazaa, morpheus or music city are it should just include a link to Gnucleus as the solution.
If the girl with the mustache and 3 chins starts looking attractive the Beer mug should stop ordering refills and start ordering coffee.
very affordable All In Wonder product .... For a mere $200 smackers
Am I the only one that thinks $200 is a lot of money still?
Sadly there is no cure for the people who got sick after seeing the movie "Bubble Boy"
They should unlock this restriction so that I can watch The Simpsons from 3 diffrent time zones.

I could use one of these in my waterbed. Harness the wave motion from.... uh that may be offtopic.
With the taxes on digital storage I would leave Canada too.
Picture yourself in the mountains, next to a stream on a nice sunny day....crushing your enemies online in Quake III.
CD's skip all the time in my Jeep especially when I drive over parking blocks, I can only imagine what that kind of beating would do to a hard drive.
"cmdrtaco is in this, ....while lounging on an inflatable sofa at linuxworld. Clearly you'll want to go buy a big screen TV to watch this"
Now I have never seen 'taco but is he a large man that requires an extra size TV to view?
Don't we already have fission capable rockets and wasn't there an article about who we have them pointed at?
"Why, for example, would midwesterners grasp technology so much better than northeasterners?"
We drink less coffee and more beer. It allows for paitence
