They should have separate competition gaming for people that still have a full time job and a girlfriend. I play Counter Strike Condition Zero pretty often and I'm not half bad, but there are people that I always see playing that can school me like a noob. Not having a life outside CS should disqualify you from playing against general population.

Just kidding, there are still some maps I can own on but I can think of more than once my GF was about ready to frag me for playing late.

My friends and I used to behave like that back when we were in HS. If some dweeb "firmly" asked us to stop trying to sound tough we would probably be throwing stuff at him till the end of the film. Being firm with someone you never met is hardly polite and a good way to end up slugging it out in the parking lot.

They make money on game sales, not the console price. How many 12 year old kids parents are going to buy them a $600 console + $60 games knowing they will have to do it again in 2 years. Sure there will be a few people but I would't count on nearing the popularity of the PlayStation at that price range.

Linux was written on Minix and based partly on it (and partly on many other operating systems). But Linux does not and never did contain any Minix source code. For one Linux is a monolithic kernel and Minix is a microkernel. Not just different code but entirely different implementations. I highly recomment reading a usernet post from Andy Tanenbaum in 1992 titled "LINUX is obsolete" and the corresponding response from Linus.

I had one job where we sat around talking for more than half the day, the company gives us more stuff do and some of the people I work with are furiously mad and nearly ready to quit. Sometimes people need to lean to suck it up and drive on.

SBC should take the time they skip from their sick days. If they don't have enough sick days left, terminate them and hire someone more productive.
