    if money made me happy, you would be right. sadly i find money in and of itself is not enough anymore. i can buy what i want and it's not enough... i need more of something else, nothing in IT seems to satisfy anymore.

    is it the EU keeping the peace for the last 50 years? or is it the fact that you guys beat the piss out of each other so relentlessly that the US decided to come over and make you play well with each other and thus left plenty of boots on the ground with state of the art hardware capable of keeping you in line? there is a reason we don't want you guys having one unified army, you are prone to war and strife. not to mention in another 40 years or so you're all going to be Islamic states. wouldn't want to give you any advantage before we have to come over there yet again and clean your house.

    you are correct. that's because clinton was driven by poll numbers and didn't do anything(regarding policy and public image) without a focus group. he was driven by mob rule and didn't have very many(if any. i can't think of one.) personal convictions that he lived and died by. if the polls said jump he'd bipartisanly ask how high?

    personally i want somebody that has his own convictions and does what he believes is right not what he thinks the rabid mod dictates from moment to moment just to have hight poll numbers and win re-election.

    while clinton didn't necessarily surround himself with yes men, he in fact was one of the biggest yes men we've ever had as president. he was the mobs yes man.

    again Bush is NOT a Jr. Al Gore IS.

    close, but no. it was stable until we pulled out. when the US pulls its troops out of an area, it destabilizes.

    close again. understanding which people you need to shoot and having the courage to do it is what brings peace.

Bush this and Bush that. what will we do if someone bad really does become president? the boy who cried wolf is a great story... read it sometime. the sixties and the boomers that came out of it are the main cause of our problems today. i for one am tired of hearing the same bitching and moaning day after day and will be glad when they're all reformed or dead.

    it's thou shalt not murder... there was a problem with the translation some where. if we're not supposed to kill then how come God set it up so that we HAVE to kill life everyday to live?

    murdering people is always wrong, killing people isn't. sometimes people just need killing, simple as that. you can kill people in war, self defense or the defense of others. civilians can be killed when they pose a threat(have gun, have bomb, are aiding a threat).

    it's people who believe that nothing is worth killing for that cause needless pain, suffering and death of far to many innocent people that don't need to.

    you may be kidding around when you say that but what really scares me is there are people around here that believe "BIG OIL" is evil.

    oil is what allows all of our current technology. ask a chemist what we'd have(or not have) without oil and the companies that provide it at a reasonable price. i for one really do welcome our big oil overlords with open loving arms.
