"by the year 2000 the oceans will be empty of all fish!" that sort of thing. 2000 got here and low and behold none of the bad things(tm) happened. now everything is pushed off another 20 years or so. when in doubt put it 20 years in the future.
were are the links in todays ape's evolution line? last time i looked none had been found. which is my primary beef with the way evolution is preached today. in all this time not one link for the ape line has been found, not even by mistake? seems a bit odd that no matter what, it's always human links found. kind of a bit too perfect if you ask me. there is no money in finding the ape missing link i was told... fine, but you'd think that science wouldn't care and one would have been found by now.

if oil was really running out don't you think they'd secure their intrests in the next energy monopoly? when it comes to profit nothing will get in the way. when oil runs out they will move to the next big thing, or they will perish.
actually, i walked into my doctors office and paid $40.00 to have a mole removed it was even on a saturday. that's what happens when you pay cash and they don't have to deal with insurance companies.

if you make "next to nothing" i doubt you pay 15% or more in federal income tax. you have to make "a bit more then nothing" to pay 15% in federal income tax.
why do you say 15% is paltry when you don't have to pay it and then imply it is too much when you have to pay it? it either is or it isn't.

good point! didn't the 9/11 terrorists plot/plan in some of the "no law" zones in Germany? after 9/11 Germans went in and started to "apply the law" in those zones... much like France needs to now. you can not have a fair and equitable society if the law is not applied through out the land.
