I was told that Nova Scotia was a *Canadian province* and not a US state. It was a friggin canadian quarter. What, I'm supposed to have a perfect knowledge of geography to pay now?
The fact that it also said Canada and had a picture of Queen Elizabeth II on it could have also tipped you off.
Canada, while always having varying colours of money also recently introduced brightly coloured 10 and 5 dollar bills. When I first saw them, it thought they where from some tropical country or something.
if they were using adult or embryonic stem cells? I would assume that they used embryonic as adult stem cells might just bond with the cells but it doesn't say anyting in the article. This is great news though, hopefully it will get objecters to see the huge benifits to stem cell research.
If this works you won't be able to create antigravity fields. Antigravity would require canceling out the very powerful static gravitoelctric field and superconductors have no effect on these fields.
Driving along the freeway and you drive by someone lissening to that new eminem cd. Suddenly all senses are blocked off, and the next think you know there is a 17 car pile up.
Raytheon Canada has developed Canadian Automated Air Traffic System (CAATS) and Military Automated Air Traffic System (MAATS) for a Nav canada contract and are currently selling it to other countries as well. The software works really well (I have seen it firsthand). It was developed in Richmond, BC.
is it won't play in all the current DVD players and will take a while before DVD players will be able to play them. How useful will this be if almost no DVD players can play them? Microsoft will have the same problem as they are trying to get DVD players to use windows media video format.
most aren't actually bugs. if you read them a lot are just people commenting on interestings 'easter eggs' they found in the film. Also some are just stupid like the following bug submission:
As a person who once lived in New York City, I know for a fact that the Board of Education in NYC does not provide for school buses for its high school students. Instead, high school students are given train/bus passes to go to school for free.
The only problem is, kazaa/Grokster users with broadband don't have any space left on their harddrives. Usually within 24 hours of burning a CD I have downloaded another 600-700 Megs.
as this is late, probably nobody will read it but whatever.
I live in Canada but this could migrate across the border. It is funny that this article was posted as I talked to a friend today about his cable provider calling him as he was using too much bandwidth. 26 GB downloaded and 17 GB uploaded in 1 month. I know someone else who managed to download 81 GB in one month and got a call from shaw cable. I am not that bad but use at least 10 GB every month. What is a reasonable cap? DSL in my area is capped at 5GB/month. Hopefully Shaw cable can keep it up. Limiting it at less than 10 GB/month would be too restrictive i think.
Sales of recorded music are down 10% in the United States over the last year. The recording industry blames this downturn not on the economic recession, not on the crappy music that they've released in the past few years, but on Internet piracy.

While it isn't limited by the width of a photon, it is still limited by things like the width of an atom.

homeworld cataclysm would be a perfect game for a highschool lan party.
PuTTY is a great free product. I have to use it for school as telnet access is blocked. It is probably for the best though.

It is funny that software used to do this (Acid) can also be downloaded from Kazaa/Grokster.

video files so I can burn them as VCDs.
Also I think that I read in scientific american that the odds of
them actually finding anything are VERY VERY small.

But who would want a mini tower with onboard video and sound and almost no room to upgrade?
what you really need is a device that will tell you how many drinks all the ladies in the bar have ordered.
He/She is talking about computers. You can't test a pentium IV cpu in gaming consoles.
