Sorry but you are wrong - you can still buy buckets/tubs of the primary pieces. The best way to get large numbers of pieces for big creations.

We ask for it, and we ask for it from some large companies as well. If we are going to spend 5 and 6 figures on software, it always goes into the contract. Never had to use it (knock on wood), but we fight for it.

We used the PowerGlove quite a bit in a VR class during undergrad. Great cheap interface.
Check out www.techbargains.com until you find a good deal on a Pioneer A05 DVD-R/-RW drive or get one of the new dual mode units from AOpen, Plextor, etc. Prices are dropping. I paid $149 for an A05 about 6 months ago and it does a fine job.
Schmidt has been with the government for awhile. Who among us went to the Town Meetings to listen and (somewhat) debate the original document before it was sent to the White House? Any comments on that panel, Schmidt, or the document?
480p is not HD. The "definition" is exactly the same as NTSC 480i, but non-interlaced. 720 and 1080 are "HDTV". Lots of people (including FOX) like to say it, and now FOX doesn't even claim it anymore, it's "enhanced" definition.
Cheers,
Josh
NA is tough, and no factory block NA is making 883 NA on gas. But they can on other fuels, and if you add forced induction, it's all up in the air (no pun intended). Plenty of over 700hp to the wheel imports have dyno'd at our shop.
Cheers,
Josh
This is not one CS Rep going out on their own. It is the entire company saying "F YOU CUSTOMER, we care not what you think". And let us not forget that NO company this size does this on their own. Business leaders from other companies ALWAYS talk. You know that a majority of them will be in agreement. No company would ever go out on their own on a topic like this unless it is going to be industry standard.
The scary part is that this comes from a Customer Service Rep. CS Reps don't formulate their own ideas, they get them from management. This is a clear indication of the corporate doctrine being taught. It must be in full swing to have reached this level, and for this action to be already taking place.
Feared...
It made sense years ago. It may make sense to a very limited number of projects. But it doesn't make sense for most businesses. And I see no use for the average consumer.
On top of that, the security issues would be insane. Allow our data to live on or be processed by someone else? In a shared environment? No thank you.
$10B? Fear.
I used to put up with Henry. I think Bill from Black Flag is the best drummer ever. I even liked Henry in that movie The Chase. But he has lost his mind. I see no reason for him to be on this show. I can't stand his poetry, he thinks he is Jello Biafra now (whom I can do without now as well). Stick with what you know, don't try to show me how you are so cool, so grown up. Do I need to forget about TV Show?
(Many will not understand this, please move along, nothin to see here. I just hate how people can do a complete 180 and want us to forget about the past)
This made the Stern show, and I was happy to see that Robin called us "Geeks" and not "Nerds". Howard made mention that Wendy also made a switch, from a Mac to a Toaster.

That would top out at around $1,425 per minute at current Sprint PCS "Vision" business rates...
Just made it to Robin's news on the Stern show. They called us "Cyber Geeks". Howard says that Wendy also made the switch, from a Mac to a Toaster (perhaps the video Toaster?)
The EOS 1Ds looks to be priced around $5000, this coming from Canon dealers taking semi pre-orders. This makes sense, look at the price of the EOS 1D, and the price of the Kodak.

I may be showing my age here... But QSD was great!
I find it funny... Bang up job, Mitch. I laughed several times today.
Just want to thank the original Empeg team once again. Hope they are doing well. Empeg is #2 device all time IMO, next to TiVo.

Fox does not utilize HDTV, only 480p, 16x9. "HDTV" is above 480 --> 720p or 1080i. 480p is better, but not HD.

Or a genuine Panamaphonics.
Everything you never had, always wanted, were jealous of... And hundreds of things that you never had the chance to get. Great site.

We have been looking for an answer, no luck. Going to try our Dell rep soon. Thanks!
The first LSL game had a boss button. It wouldn't let you back in the game after you used it though. Doh!

Very much looking forward to the next Supra rated at about 112hp. Doh!

You can also join one of several mailing lists. Some of the CISSP lists will be very helpful.
