Was flurocarbon liquid I think. Totaly benine to any electronic circuit.
For all of the water people why not just build a tank fill with Flurocarbon liquid with pump and radator drop you computer minus fans and get away from the plumbing nightmare?
This would make that huge mfg area in China basicaly usless.
Also if a decomposer could be created to feed unwanted devices in to break down the device back into raw material would solves a lot of recycle problems.
So you could build you next device by recycling and adding some fresh stuff to your Epson C2003D
Problem is its like MP3 downloads. Have the matrix to build would lead to problem like the music companies are having now.
All idea are good but as she continues on there All electronc ones will fail after awhile due to the deteration of the illness.
Check with your local S.P.C.A. Also the national ALS orginazation. You are looking for a dog that is trained for the handcap for this special task. There are other program that train dogs for vairous task and a dog will get some up under any conditions.
I think there is one in Oceanside California that may train a helper that could handler her needs. Also the benifits of the love and affection may also help her mental aspect.
Also try this link to the national ALS group.

You may want to even try IBM. At one time they had stuff that could help the handcap.
Besides 'The Mythical Man Month' there is also I think its called Code Complete form m$.
I started on a team that the main guy talked a good talked and bug him for a month at that time he told me he had nothing except for the stuff he had wip up that was nothing.
MMM is 1e100000000000% correct NEVER EVER add people to a problem project. Have seen it in person where it does everthing that was described in the book.
Also NEVER try to do it all your self. Saw one time where a team did that and litterly the single guy went mad!
If you are team leader you have a two edge sword. One is your boss. You must tell him and keep him informed. Good and esp bad but most important what you are doing to fix it. He may have some ideas. 2nd you must manage the team to get them to produce the max that can. It may take switching people around, or remove all distraction that could affect them. Or a go over exactly what is nessary but not the code to do their sections.
If you deside to do it all yourself you proabbly have a 10% chance of finishing. At best.
On thing is do they have the nessary skills. Are they in the right slot? But mostly, do they really understand the problem? If you dont understand the problem and the solution you will generate weak code. I had a prof that started on the first day of his class with "I want you to Program the world". Dead quite! Then the moan and groans started. Esp since this was a compressed one month class! He did this just before we had a break. When we all pile back in the room after some real grouching from the class, when we all came back in I and another ask ok please spell out what world etc. We want the details. He said to us the odd of you two finishing are excelent the odds of the rest finishing the project are bad. Because they see a block walll etc. We saw the finish. We wanted to know the exact problem to solve and the prameters to complete it.
From your description they have no firm grasp of the problem and the solution. You can lead, coax, inform, pitch in but NEVER do it all your self or beat the stuffing out of. If its late then you need to restructure, rethink and redo. Else will fail.
There is a section in MMM covering the surgial approack where you cut other help. That may work but the other must be informed that you can do your part and manage but it also up to them to get there parts done. This is not a let you sink but inform them that this is real and they must do their work.
When these guys start to adapt the research from AI low level bug's etc instead of unfuzzy logic of the "Do this" and "crash", the concept of reboot or give up and start completly over can finaly be removed. Then self repair correcting for damge problems can finaly be added giving the pilot or who ever a better chance of surviving. Basicaly a way to heal itself so to speak.
Why dont they just drop the show and just run ad's! They do that late at night! The shows are basicaly framwork to seperate the ad's! 24 hours 7 days a week 30 days a month 365 days a year of ads!
Johnny Carson used to do a number on the midnight move when he was the host of the Tonight Show. 1 second of move 20 seconds of ad's.
Did SN have a number dealing with too many bugs on the screen?
I hate to say it but some of those ad's are better than the junk they are showing now!
Well its back to books unless these morion create a pop up ad in them!
I read it somewhere that M$ is loosing the server war. Linux is beating them. So why not go and show off their products? Kind of a head for head display. Pure marketing geek thinking.
But the odds are its a way to spy and grab information. Remember this is the real Borg we are talking about! Not those wimps on StarTrek! A lot of usfull key info can be found out at a show. Esp when you pump a marketing geek with praise.
The current way is either mailorder or try one of the convention like the Anime-Expo this week in Longbeach. There are still a lot of conventions around the country.
Even Buy.com and Amazon stock some mainstream items.
There use to be a place called Yohan in SD that has or had a Japanes bookstore that had both mag, CD and some Video. Also near the back was a place that also had CD {SM bootlege stuff:P}, Videos and Model's.
It had droped that name. Its located near Baboa Ave and 163. Is in the same stripmall as Staples,CompUsa and SD Tech Books.
Intersting topic but a bit dangerious. Ok. Very dangerious!!!
Food in a wave get up to a max of around 250 degrees.
You can catch Kellogs Poptars on fire by changing the time from 30 seconds up to 3 minutes:)
The thing is and sound strange is that food acts as a load for the Magatron generator. That is why you never run the poor thing without somthing in it. If you put metal item it will act more like a short for the magatron and may cause a serious problem like fire, shorts, sparks, etc!
There were basic ones. Usually were made out of wood and were a pain to slide unless services. Bet it would be a beast to cleanup and service today. That is why Metal Slide Rule were the best. Last one I saw was in High School in both Math & Electronics classes.
Just pull both my old Pickeet 1010-ES Power Trig and a 600-T. Both are metal and slide as good like they were new. Both have not seen service in at least 15 years.
That has the best game play of any game previous to current day. Graphics were crude but after awhile it was who cares lets see how far we can go! Basically it was 1 million square area that you got to rom around in. Never got the code for save but would get set up and play for hours untill my luck ran out. Esp those darn cat's and monster-generators.
The other game that was about the same in fun was Battle for The Crown. The one that came in a issue of STart. Super simple & crude but wow was fun. Esp when you leard it cheated but made for even more fun after that point!
Actualy I though it was the Empire them from StarWars?
There is a talk show I get sometime on computers that when the guys start talking about M$ you hear that theme and a cheesy Bill Gates sounding like Darth Vader.

It does sound like Longhorn without the required new hardware.
But a computer magnifies the user. If organized it makes them better. But if Dis-organizes it amplifies the mess.
Wish him luck. The anwers is like Tivo. There is some bit of crude AI that tried to remove the Human as much as possible from the real work.
So they are trying this tech again? Sheech Did this in the 80 to protect software I cooked up! It barelly worked back then!
Whats old is new again!
All idea are good but as she continues on there All electronc ones will fail after awhile due to the deteration of the illness.

Good luck!
I agree on Mononke! Oustanding film!
The only problem with Mononoke was Mirmax did a horrible job of marking and distribution. Only Iron Giant was done worse.
I am worried about how these clowns will do with Spirited Away since its slated for September 20 move and if correct, Oct 8 for video release!
I wont get into the "Red Tint" problem from BV Japan pressing on the R2 DVD release of SA.
Oh well old habits die hard I guess.

Dident the two finally had to give it away since "others" were trying to destroy it. Also someting about 98% efficeny?

How do we know this is not Mr Gates and crew?
Would be like a trap. Find all those that would cause problems and grab them!

Sounds like a great canidate for a Darwin Award.
Forget it! Its missing the cursor-hairline! Building one would be a real pain.
Also its very basic. It only has scales A through D. At least it has C & D. Can do some items with it. IE it equal to a basic 4 function calculator.
Down further is a "regular" Slide rule.
There were basic ones. Usually were made out of wood and were a pain to slide unless services. Bet it would be a beast to cleanup and service today. That is why Metal Slide Rule were the best. Last one I saw was in High School in both Math & Electronics classes.

So they are selling a teaching slid rule? Cool! Wonder if its either a Pickett or K&E? Both were good ones! Have not seen one in about 30 years.
:) And they still work!
Hum... If its a teaching one. Then it only has basic scales. Nothing fancy.
Yep. I still have a set of them! Even a micro 10" metal one from Pickett.
Does any one remember Mega Maze?
That has the best game play of any game previous to current day. Graphics were crude but after awhile it was who cares lets see how far we can go! Its alive!
Does not really matter since "Its dead Jim!" ;)
At least Lucas spent the money for a more robust site.
Hum.
Intersting site guys! Looks like a early 21 century error message comming from an ancient Apache server saying Frobidden.
Cool. Data is blue screen and the site is Forbidden!
Hum...
So they have the blue screen of death in the 24 century still?!!!!! Sheech.
At least they wont need a planet this time to reactivate him!
I have had the same results. Except for one drive that is still running they all die a very early death!
The spects do not meet what it does when it does work!
