And back in the '80s and '90s people knew to avoid the stations that were using additives to cheapen their gas. I have tried E10 vs E0 quite a few times, it's worth it to find the E0 fuel, especially for older or high performance vehicles.
Portions of the decline go back much further, some would trace it to right after the US was founded. I tend to think the major portion of decline began with Lincoln, he did a great deal to place the Federal government above the people and the Constitution.
I would have to say I am happy with my U-Verse service at home. I was with TWC before, and they REALLY sucked. I had to reset my internet router multiple times a day, they sent technician after technician out to find the problem, and no luck. I switched to U-Verse and my internet has been down for about 15 minutes in the last 2 years.
I have never seen a death caused by a gun, many caused by humans using guns as a weapon. I have also seem men die because of words, does that mean words kill by your logic? Should freedom of speech and freedom of the press be curtailed because of the damage men cause using them?
OpenSSL is in use on Linux as well as on Windows. Chrome is in use on Windows, the Linux version is Chromium, which may or may not have the same issue.
Apparently the indoctrination has been successful with you. In reality the government's power derives from the people. The Constitution is not there to specify what rights the all-powerful government has deigned to grant upon us mere mortal citizens, it is in place to keep the government in check. It specifies what the government is allowed to do and what it is not allowed to do. Somewhere along the line the people forgot this and allowed the government to seize a great deal of power that is beyond it's authority.
It is a shame, I had to endure science classes where they kept harping on the coming ice ace and how mankind was destroying the environment and pushing us into an ice age. I had to endure classes where nonsense was pushed forward as "fact", and if a student questioned the "facts" he was marked a trouble maker. I had to hold strong to my faith that was under attack by teachers on a daily basis, not because of reality, but because they were trying to mold us into good little liberals. History classes that downplayed the contributions of the majority, while hyping the contributions of the minorities. Before you start throwing stones at what a religious school is doing, make sure you step out of your own glass house first.
So, Creationists have conducted an experiment were, in one test, there is a God, and in the second test, there is NOT a God, and all other conditions are identical, and in the first, life appears, and in the second, it does not?
Have scientists conducted an experiment where, in one test, there is an earth where man has polluted the environment, and in a second test, man does not exist to create the pollution, and all other conditions are identical, and in the first global warming appears, and in the second, it does not?</s>
Some things on both sides are just accepted as fact by people on both sides, it's why the debate on some topics is so heated. At least the creationists admit they are acting on something they believe by faith.
There are Minecraft servers with challenges in place to give you goals. The benefit to Minecraft is that the one game can support a variety of playstyles and gametypes.
You would have to convince all the Apple fanatics to quit buying Apple products because of things like this. And the masses will keep buying, so there is no reason for companies to do things honestly.
I am amazed no one has listed Minecraft as a testament to modding helping a game grow. It's one of the top selling PC games of all time http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_PC_video_games and modding is almost an integral part of the Minecraft community.
Handling this right would have been to set up a DNS server that redirected them to a page telling them their computer was infected by malware and with instructions on how to remove it.
Congress does it every year with tax law, bills are often passed in late December or even early January that apply to the prior tax year. They have been getting away with it for a long time, why would they stop now?
Yep, look at your neighbor's blog and find out he is a transvestite into spanking straight guys. Read the blog of the kid down the street and find out he hates you, yep, lots of things you want to know about your neighbors...
Yeah, there are going to be 1000 comments about why not just step outside? But I think it could be a great resource if I could step out my virtual front door and
Look to my left and see my neighbors blog and the books he's published
Look further down to see another slashdot reader living a few doors down
Look to my right and see the restaurant hours and menu posted
Look down the street a block or two and see what movies are playing
and of course... add a pink flag to any and all women living in the area that are my age, and have their social networking profiles set to single.
one persons utopia is another's dystopia of course but I like the concept.
High school kids are as good a judge of character as most adults, remember this is the country that elects the people to screw them over, and that is done by adults.
Respect is earned, if the teacher have not earned it then they will not get it, you cannot force someone to respect you, not even at the end of a gun. The idea that respect is a right is one of many things very wrong in this society and part of the reason it is in decline.
I remember back in high school, I brought a camera in to school and they took it away and kept it all day, so I could get it before I went home for the day, that is not because of the disruption it made, I was very careful not to run it during class, it was because it represents a danger to their power base, if I got something they do wrong on video, it would cause them problems, and they do a great deal wrong in our schools, only an idiot does not think so.
It's the same philosophy that has resulted in bloated operating systems and applications.
Everyone assumes that memory and bandwidth are cheap, so the don't bother optimizing their code.
Then these same people bitch about how bloated an application is. Certainly would be nice for people to engage the brain once and a while.
Yeah, I am sure my karma will take a hit for telling people the ugly truth.
You might want to check for a log out option before getting inside.

And they are doing this so that when it reaches the SCOTUS again, they can say "It's a fine, not a tax." and get it by the court again.

Even the current data is suspect. I know the local monitoring station is next to a big hunk of asphalt that was not there 20 years ago.
That is ok, I am waiting on Windows 180, when Microsoft does a complete turn around and puts out a good operating system.
I doubt that, they seem totally unable to predict tomorrow's weather. Someone could roll dice and be more accurate.

Don't worry, I am sure it will be a SyFy movie at some point, it depends on what their random plot dice come up with.
You would have to convince all the Apple fanatics to quit buying Apple products because of things like this. And the masses will keep buying, so there is no reason for companies to do things honestly.
And it may be out of copyright by then.

You missed the fact that they might be both.
And HSN
