If you are on the companies network and you have a win2k installation you should be fine. Your roaming profile will fire up internat.exe which should kick up your dvork config.
This is all done without any user effort, but rather a properly configured samba server with roaming profiles.
I'm assumming it will work with XP, but we have no such installs here. (that roam anyway)
Unfortunately, organizing that kind of odd ball testing would be a management nightmare unless you want to go out and collect all of the hardware. Remember, some people do post patches and whole driver releases without stepping inside of the kernel team's realm.
The only real way to automate something like that would be a dummy load facility. Some software which would emulate the hardware being in place. Something conceptually similar to that effect anyway.
So then, for every driver for a device, you have a software kit which tests the driver to see if its functioning. I have no idea how practical this is as I've never really done any serious kernel hacking.
There are many places which cease to carry after it's been licensed.
I have seen the ones that do carry licensed material, but I tend to avoid those. There is a nice harmony in the industry and it would be nice if everyone could play along.
I had that email period in life as well. There was a time when work was heavily email centric and many many functions were dependant on it.
My friends just happened to get used to email being real time for me.
Then fast foward to a career change. Suddenly, e-mail wasn't a huge deal with work, sure we still use it a great deal, but I get by with 3 or 4 hour check times.
It really wasn't that much of a transition.
Though there was the whole... work sponsored email addiction rehab program... but we don't talk about those dark times.
If you dig around a little bit you will find the acceptable tolerance levels most equipment is designed around.
For ATX 2.01.. the variance is only 5% for all positive voltage rails. For instance, if you see a reading below 4.75 on your 5v line... you are looking at a problem.
I've already seen this on a cheap power supply and the problem resulted in a few things. Extreme system instability (It was a fair chunk below the 5% mark) and lots of extra heat.
My guess is the power supply was extremely over taxed because it was over rated, but rather then waste time with further research... I simply replaced the unit. (down time being lost revenue). It still sits in storage... waiting for a day when I will toy with it.
You can rely on the internal sensors if you like and most newer boards come with such devices. I have a bit less trust in such things and prefer to take the reading directly from the line with a volt meter.
It's more troublesome then some really understand.
I can really appreciate the UL listings on the back of a television monitor after dealing with so much much equipment that doesn't have any listings.
When performing an evaluation... I had a friend recommend just getting an amperage meter tool to check the system needs. It really doesn't take in account the initial power spike, but it helps when things are poorly documented.
So... all I can say is...
Over spec, over spec and well... you know... over spec some more.
We can bring someone back for one day.... I call bullshit on robot over lords.
Honestly, they just tossed a bot together and molded her appearance from DNA. The next step is fairly simple as they merely have to toss them in a room and set him up for the fall. Terribly evil and sad movie.
High volume sites were simply not able to check every transaction and with these types of coding failures... bad things can happen.
I was surprised by just how many vendors that did work on. In the end, all they could really do is go back over their transaction logs and look for grievious errors.
You just don't see them because they look like you and me.
A friend of mine, who held a reasonably high military rank, now has his federal conceal and carry permit. When he flies/now/ he can be asked to sit in if they are short handed. Something about his previous rank, but all very interesting. I just thought it was neat he has a conceal and carry everywhere.
Not sure if it is supposed to be a breakfast food, but that's primarily how it was served (on bread). Semi-tasty stuff when you are younger with a stomache of iron.
Now, it's just too greasy for me, but that doesn't say I won't touch it again. (Just fairly rare to eat it now)
Oddly...

Reminds me of the comment...
"I'm now punching into the computer, exactly what it can do with a life time supply of chocolate bars."
Having been a netscape directory customer...
I can't say I would really want it on redhat either.
Maybe it's gotten better though.

It's not like these systems come with a tunable pot.
SO it's an integrated sensor package hard wired to spec.
Honestly,
I thought the violence alone was enough to kill it from lime light that is american televised anime.
I'm sure it will be gutted and chopped up.
Bollocks...

Licensed to be licensed is more the arguement as well.
Though someone in the fansub industry will have to give a better over view.
I was under the impression it's not licensed for distribution... but pivoted to sale on the market.
A pity to see its going to be ruined with english translation. I've seen a good bit of anime now and they just seem to ruin it with the voices.
The trick to fighting fat kids is endurance! They don't have it... so you have to draw the fight out.
So needless to say, when I managed to find myself in an encounter, I had to end the event quickly.
Know thy own limitations!
(I did drop most of the weight though... roughly 30lbs to go)
Yeah,

That is precisely what I was thinking of.
;)
We now have a universe wide cell phone
I was trying to dig up the article on that particular experient and see if they had found further results.
Ah, the Orson Scott Card ansible ( Ender saga) founded on junk yard parts and we didn't even have to thieve the technology from an alien race.
There was an article about this some time ago.
High volume sites were simply not able to check every transaction and with these types of coding failures... bad things can happen.
I was surprised by just how many vendors that did work on. In the end, all they could really do is go back over their transaction logs and look for grievious errors.
It wasn't like that before...
I had accounts just sitting there for years before. (I suppose that's why they instituted that policy)
I'll flame you into extinction for not mentioning Linux!
And what about my BSD brehthren?
I think we've been far to lax for some time... time to take up arms.
They already have those armed guards...
/now/ he can be asked to sit in if they are short handed. Something about his previous rank, but all very interesting. I just thought it was neat he has a conceal and carry everywhere.

Yeah...
They don't come around me anymore...
One of my friends was basically touting the "new and improved" tcp stack in 2k. He didn't quite say it like that, but that's the gist of it.
He had been going over and over features at this point and I assurred him everything he mentioned we already had.
However, I couldn't forgive the tcp stack mad loving...
So I stopped while we were walking...
Turned to him and informed him... it was a very nice stack... quite nice... one of the best...
Oh yes... it was also the BSD tcp stack.. not msft.
Woooah...
Hold the phone thunder.
Before they outsourced, I could call up Dell parts and give a base description and get a part.
Now, if I call up Dell parts I have to search the internet for the part number and give that to them.
Pretty much the same thing for anything else involved in support now.
The quality has gone down hill and no matter how you want to spin it... you can't change that fact.
I used to when I was a great deal younger.

Don't worry...
I've already applied for all the necessary patents.
It really doesn't matter who wins the contest... I'm already the winner.
I'll give 200 Million Dollars for the first team who can complete my contest.
"Turn Lead Into Gold"
(Winning contestants may see light of day again... jk... not really)
Er...
Crap...
I have it right this time I swear.
Yeah...
We need a master like Bruckheimer...
Bruckheimer's New One
