I always go to specialty digital camera review sites when shopping for a digicam. There's so many aspects of the camera to go over and in the end, I want to see some full resolution test pictures.
However, for any other piece of equipment, I do Newegg. Yes, there are tons of negative reviews. But you have to read them, and decide if they have merit. DOAs don't have merit unless half of the reviews are like that. Inability to get the product working to their satisfaction also has no merit unless it just hit the market. Points taken off for dealing with tech support have no merit. etc etc...
What sane person would choose "Chicago" over "Rio de Janiero"? Passport control? Are you kidding me? Chicago is known for being wet, cold, windy, and expensive.
Maybe this will be the wakeup call for Chicago, that their culture of bribery is actually costing them business. But I doubt it.
I found Eve to be long and boring. Then I discovered I could buy ISK!
Finally I could get some decent ships and play without the ridiculous grind. Then one day I logged in and my accounts had been debited for the amount of ISK I had purchased. Even with my near gear it would take an intolerable amount of grinding to catch up.
Grinding (Mining) in Eve is more annoying than in any other game I've played. It's at a pace where you can't just do something else, but it's slow enough where you keep on trying.
Running player created missions will get you killed because they're designed to send you somewhere where you can be ganked by them
Doing anything solo in any sector is either a waste of time or a death sentence.
So you have to be a slave to some group to make any progress. Wheeee. After a day of slaving for a real company, you go home and be a slave to a virtual one. This game is not for the Han Solo types out there.
It's not even a Pyramid scheme anymore. It's just an "Old people tax". You get taxed, it's handed out to old people. After paying for an enormous federal government overhead.

I'm getting 1000+ spam messages a day going to my Gmail spam folder.
Spammers are not giving up.

I don't think that's a phone.
Or you can buy a gun. You know, a normal gun that shoots bullets?
2nd amendment was made just for that sort of situation.
Still waiting for evidence of global warming that exceeds the margin of error.
Hot water will help. You just have to make it hot enough.
Sure, so they've converted 500 interns into programmers.
In the same timeframe, how many programmers have they hired in their overseas operations?
A gun laying on the table by itself is not dangerous. If you fear it, then that's irrational and a phobia.
A gun crawling across the table should freak you the hell out though.
Crap. I've got a Kindle.
But Daddy! I don't wanna be in the control group!
Ask the kids in Kindergarden to read to them.
You should definitely be reading by the time you're 9. If not, there's a problem somewhere that needs to be taken care of.
All this while declining to pursue higher education and instead learning from the experts in the fields which interest me.
Could you go into more detail on this item? Perhaps an anecdote?
Are you still living in CA?
Also known as "That state that businesses can't flee from fast enough."
That's about 68 erases per sector PER DAY if I want my new SSD to last 4 years.
I 4 years I expect SSD tech to be much cheaper, faster, and able to contain far more data. I am not concerned.
I'd also use these on servers, barring a DB server or some kind of caching server.
So...the punishment should be execution?
I can't tell if you're right or wrong, I can't follow your point at all.
Bloggers should remain anonymous because they have no institution to protect them from frivolous lawsuits like newspaper columnists do.
Most of Humanity has not heard of the word "Cheeseburger" either.
I must be endorphin resistant, I never got that rush.
Concord Pilot License Extensions?
How in the world is that the equivalent to buying ISK?

Fatty foods don't make you fat. Taking in more calories than you're burning makes you fat.
This is...a very basic concept. The only way I know to short circuit it is to drop an essential component the body needs for making fat. Like carbs.
