    $12.50 per person? In Orange County, CA many theaters are up to $9.50 for standard seating, so I wouldn't think twice about spending another $3 for a little luxury. I hope we start seeing this sort of thing around here.

    Apple seems to imply that they don't charge a fee anymore.

    I know they used to charge $1 per port, then they moved to $1 per device, but I don't see anything about fees anymore.

    I can go to the video game store and buy used games cheaper.

    And you can spend all day blowing on your cartidges trying to get them to work in your aging console.

    Part of the beauty of ROM images is that they don't wear out like our favorite cartidges and consoles do.

    Mostly because BSD doesn't need lobbying.

    BSD doesn't have a license that gets it into all sorts of legal scuffles.

    BSD users don't care what everyone else is using.

    BSD users don't see what they're doing as competing against microsoft. If microsoft went away, they would still be trying to make the best operating systems available.

    We're not looking to take over the world, it's more fun to compute.
