Am I the only one that still fears radiation? Or, is it ok now to just blast everybody with heavy doses? Airports, border patrol, and now from police cars. Isnt anyone else worried?
Hi, I'm a Christian and I can help you out here. I can totally see the confusion on this sort of topic. What you have with the Bible is a promise/fulfillment dynamic. In the old testament, the Jewish people had "the law". The law had a number of goals. It was to show the sin of people who could not keep the law. It was also to symbolize the future promises. This is especially evident with the command to keep the sabbath. The sabbath was a sign. It pointed to a future rest in Jesus Christ (see hebrews 4).
When Jesus came to earth, He fulfilled the promises that were represented in the OT. In Him, the law is fulfilled. In Him you have eternal rest. You see, the the law was not abolished at all (see matthew; sermon on the mount). Rather, the law was fulfilled in Jesus. So, God did not change His mind at all. Rather, His plan was symbolized in the OT, and fulfilled in the NT in Jesus. The jews looked foward to the future promise. By keeping the law they were believing in what God promised in Jesus. When they sacrificed an animal on the altar, the animal wasnt forgiving their sins. Rather, by faith they were doing a ritual that would be actualized in Jesus. Jesus forgives the sins, and they were simply looking forward to this in this symolism. The cross was that pivitoal point in time that affected all people, both directions. I hope my explanation was clear.
These are the same xray scanners that they are using at the airports. Thats right, in total disregard for the public health, these police will hit you with a harmful shot of radiation just for walking down the street. They are also doing this at the borders, but hitting the whole car with xrays. If you dont like where the country is going, if you dont like the constitution dying, vote Ron Paul as he is the only hope for us. Otherwise, watch the descent into tyranny.
I've been touting Ron Paul because obviously he is the only hope for this country. Granted, I'm sure by mentioning this on facebook the government knows that I'm a terrorist. That right, people that metion ron paul, the FED, and such are labeled terrorists now by our wonderful government. With the NDAA now, just being a terrorist SUSPECT can grant you indefinite detention, no due process, no lawyer. Yeah. And now they are trying to push this Enemy Expatriation Act through, which says the government can strip you of your US citizenship if they deem you hostile to the government. Please people, vote Ron Paul. You may not like all his ideas, but the alternative is total TYRANNY.
lol sorry bro, I just didnt have time then to type a more intelligent response. Yeah, you dont want much natural fluoride either. In fact, I found this article about natural fluoride reaching water supplies and they had to correct it: http://articles.latimes.com/2006/mar/23/nation/na-fluoride23
Lots of things occur natually that you dont want to take in to your body either dude. And usually the natural amount is very little compared to what is added artificially. The other thing you have to realize, is there are different types. Siliciofluorides never occur naturally, and this is what is added at the plant. The original link I sent you actually answers your exact question: http://www.fluoridedebate.com/question03.html
Finally, if you research where the water plant gets its fluoride to add, youll find it comes from Aluminum companies as toxic waste. This is a by product of their process, and it is sold straight to the water companies. If youre wondering if this waste contains other thigns than fluoride, youre right. Research all the other things that are in this toxic waste including radioactive elements.
Just because something is written in 2000 doesnt make it invalid. Do you own research. My only goal is to warn people about this poison added to our water that degrades IQs and negatively affects health in many ways.
Thsi is great. I was considering buying a Kindle because now I read Kindle books on my Android phone. I'm also in the market for a tablet, which I would like to be android. So, this is perfect for me.
This should stop now. Most people dont even realize that there is the possibility of danger of goin into one of these things. Those of us that are concerned get the ol pat down. Myself, I'm not even going to fly at all. F you TSA.
I can't believe no one suggested this. Get you own domain name. They are like $8. Then, you can create a google for domains gmail account that uses your own domain but through the gmail system. You post to slashdot, surely you can figure this out right? Forward your old address, and phase it out. Since you'll use your own domain, it will definitely be unique to you.
Man, I loved my PS3 when I bought it. I pulled the trigger on the $600 console. It was shiny, new, perfect. Then I bought GTA4 and it broke the drive somehow. Drive couldnt read discs. I sent it in and waited 3 months only to be returned with a different, used console that was scuffed up and had dust under the translucent cover. I lost my enthuiasm. I play a blu-ray (bought a $1500 tv for 1080p to justify the blu ray) only to have the screeching high pitched loud fan ruin the movie experience. Then sony pulled the linux feature off right when I was going to check it out. I'm done. Combine this with the root kit and geohot crap and im done with sony. I hate to say it but I might buy an XBOX next time or stick with PC gaming.
I'd really like a tablet to run my home automation display. But the cheap Android ones are no good (poor screens, buggy), and the xoom is way to expensive. I hate Apple for how the lock down their products, and how they act as a company. But the ipad2 so definitely the better buy. Still, I'm going to wait a while and see what happens.
If i'm working on bug fixes or boring stuff, I'm not very inclined to get engrossed. If i'm designing a new module or solving a complex problem, then I get really into it to the point where I can zone everything else out. I think about it most hours after work and even before I go to sleep, and get right back into it when i'm back at work. I'm sort of obsessed with it until its done.
There isnt really a time limit to it. If it takes 40 hours to build, then i'll stay with it until its done. Its only when I'm pulled off, or distracted in some way where I break my concentation. Once I stop, I find it very hard to resume what I was doing.
After having used Linux and Windows and OS X systems for years, OS X does this right.
Yes there are "hundreds of conf files". But they are not scattered around, they are all in ~/Library/Preferences.
Hmmm, the mac sounds like it has a similar solution, but that isnt much different than the windows registry. I'm wondering how its better?
This is great. I usually play Tetris as I listen to streaming radio from the Internet. I can't just sit and listen. I have to occupy my mind and fingers with something to be able to focus. If I gain brain capacity in the process, all the better! By the way, I can score 250 lines in type A, and I can beat type B on level 9 high 5 with no window on the first try!

Educate yourself: http://www.fluoridedebate.com/
Perhaps its age, or perhaps its from years of flouride in the drinking water, BPA in everything we eat, and other poisons like artificial sweetener.
Then a guy walks over and just shoots you in the head.
Wake me up when I can use my Google apps account.
Ah, you do realize you can pause your subscription, right?

How does google back up their data. Or even do they? Or is it just a massive farm of machines with the data spread across redundantly?

When are you going to learn that Darwin doesn't exist!
What about spring water?
I only drink bottled water. Ha ha ha!

Can it run windows?
I think Alpine had this technology in their car stereos. Check it out. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-sTHC7HVqUZ9/app/learn/article/default.aspx?pp=T&page=All&aid=639&articlegroupid=76 I never owned one of these, and am not really sure how it works, but supposedly you can feel the buttons that you press.
