I definitely that with the above poster that the market is very small and has not made many achievements. Also, you have to sometimes wonder about IBM. They invest lots of money, do so much research, come up with this great product and that's it. They just leave it. Take the thinkpads, linux, OS/2, Informix, Lotus Suite.... and so on. I just don't understand the mentality of the execs there.
When people see that you can buy 8000-sq ft homes, this only encourages others to do the same. He truly is not doing any thing illegal and I think that's where the problem is. Why not write to your congressman/congresswoman and see if you can get legislation passed. That would be more helpful in the long run.
I was under the impression that Microsoft Office 11 was promoting their own??? version of XML. If that is the case, I am sure that BillG wouldn't want anything else as a standard
Move to atlanta. Will work everywhere, but randomly. Sometimes you have perfect service, in the same area, and other times, you can't even make a call.
Why do I want to pay for something that was already paid for by me and millions of other people thru tax dollars? I expect nothing more from the Bush administration than to cave in to corporations' every whim. Mind you, I don't think that Democrats are any better, but atleast occasionally some democrats hear the common people. Score one for the big guys.
The corporations are always trying to squeeze out money. Today free govt sites, tomorrow terrerisom insurance. oh wait, that's today also. I guess they will have a lot of time on their hands tomorrow to plan where to get money from next.
I know that M$ has played an underhanded trick by building IE into the OS, but it works fast. I know a lot of companies that write IE specific webpages. Mozilla is a good competitior, but it still has a lot of catching up to do. The load time is the first thing that needs to improve.
It's a ploy. Get with it man. This is M$ we are talking about. They have been found guilty of doing anti-trust violations. I think, a mass murderer might eventually find it in his conscience to change, but I feel like M$ will always be up to its old tricks. As long as they have the power, they will force you to update and sneak EULA changes that might someday mortgage your house.
It looks like Mrs. Betterly is doing better than most I know. Maybe we should all become mass mailers just like how most people joined the tech sector for more money. That will flood the market and saturate it, hopefully?
Seeing that many companies, especially the mid-large corporations, don't move to new server releases quickly, this may play right into the hands of M$. By the time, Blackcomb or what comes out, many corporations would have upgraded to Win 2K. Then again, this may work against M$ also, seeing that companies would have finally move to Win 2K and are not ready to move again that quickly. I guess we will wait and see.
One of the many harddrives I have is a Fujitsu and they are prone to go bad, but as much as you say. I replaced 2 out of 20 that I have. I even got a better replacement because they were out of the drives I bought 2 1/2 yrs ago. So, I am happy.

The reason three wheels we not popular in my opinion is that they are unsafe at high speeds. It certainly looks cool, but I travelling at such high speeds can get you killed faster in the water than on land.
I already get Playboy and ETC Ala Carte. I think these are also premium channels. So, this is of very little interest. I don't reall care to see movies at home. I like going outside for a change. Visit your local theatre and look at all the pretty girls you can shag!!
Knowing all the rules and regulations in the U.S, they will probably not carry Hentai anyway. If you were living in good old Paris, then we could definitely get some of that.
My computer is my MP3/all-in-one player. I don't see why I care to have any additional player with hacks for such things. It can be an interesting pasttime, but I would still keep my MP3 CDs and DVDs around
We have seen the EU take on Honeywell before and the deal was struck down. Hopefully, M$ will be found guilty and be forced to reduce their market share at least in Europe. This with the addition of some govts promoting Linux as a cheaper alternative will eventually cut M$ down to size. Then ofcourse, there is the M$ driving their "customers" away with promoting valid licenses. With Longhorn, I can see less and less people buying/installing Windows to avoid the hassle. M$ won't go down over night, but every dog has its day, though I would hate to call M$ a dog, because atleast my dog is my very best friend.

The original story is that people were trying to keep the spirits away from your house. I don't understand why people dress up to go to others houses. This is nothing more than the candy manufacturers way of getting extra dough into their pockets.
Not that I can tell the difference, but why this sudden move from East to West? Was this done for corporate reasons? Where are you located now? May be I can come visit sometime
I am not sure how many people will be willing to make the switch themselves. I was very much looking forward to buying a Toyota Prius, but I recently found out that the hybrid cars of today require you to change the batteries every 3 yrs and it costs $6000-7000 to replace them and they are not as powerful now. But maybe all this will change by 2012.
I hope they don't try to control the content like they with everything else. That way some of the other scholars and oridinary folks alike can study/understand the real text in the bible and not let it be interpreted by others who might leave out a thing or change the meaning to what they feel is right. Don't get me wrong. Not everyone intreprets it incorrectly, but just that all of think differently and you might have published your view of what is in the bible. Now I get to read and figure out the view in the printed version is correct
That's just like anyone who is a step ahead of the rest. They have the money and the power. But they want more. So they encourage you to do more business because you will generate revenue for them. Then one day they can claim it as their "intellectual" property.
I thought that according to one of the provisions of the United nations, it is not legal to build any lasor guided weapons, isn't it? I am sure that there are loop holes, but it would be interesting to see how the U.S utilizes those loop holes
Why does Microsoft have a problem with this? Is it because United Online would get the software for free? I would think that would be able to negotiate new terms with the company. This just seems way out of line.

The picture up on the website looks more like a felt-tip pen than an actual rocket. Is it real or a toy?

No, I think that was the Microsoft Bob release. Both Foghorn (WB Studios) and Bob just didn't know when to zip it.
