That $3.25 per mile includes all energy and resources that went into the manufacturing of the vehicle as well, not just your cost per mile after purchasing. The energy required by the machinery at the nickel ore mines plus refining of said nickel for instance (when talking about the batteries it uses).
OK, I have to use Track-It and am certainly no big fan, but your post is just B.S. In 4 years I have never had a problem with any data entry being saved, remote control has never locked up any machine I've used it with and users most definitely DO NOT have to be entered as workstations. You may be right about the schema sucking as database access is quite slow and I suppose that would contribute.
I have no problem seeing this product get bashed, but come on.....
Absolute agreement. I belong to 4-5 airline FF programs, 7-8 rental car programs, and several hotel programs. The get ANYTHING on ANY of them requires a userid AND password. Every time, without exception. None allow a blank password.
This is total fear-mongering B.S.
... And you haven't taken into account the tax loopholes, shelters, and breaks businesses of this sze are able to utilize. Their true tax bill is like FAR less than 31% of their profits.
Um, hello, my point called. It wanted you to know that you missed it completely. Dumbass. My point was that they tend to spend so much time on little shit that they let a lot of bigger issues get by without much noise. SUCH AS THIS ONE.
And both points I referred to were cases that have been in the news here in my area, but specific links weren't nneded to make my point, which once again, you totally missed.
They are busy suing a 7 year old kid for saying, "One nation under God," when the kid next to him didn't want to hear it and having a 70 year old store owner in Alabama arrested for having a printoff of the 10 commandments hanging up behind the register. They need to take care of that important stuff first before looking at little things like this.
Yeah, I mean, it's not like the UN has run or otherwise been deeply involved in FAO, ILO, UNIDO, UNESCO, UNICEF, UNCHS, WHO, UNDTCD, ITU, UPU, WMO, ICAO, WFP, IAEA, IFAD, UNFDAC, the World Bank, UNFPA, UNV, and dozens of other major international organizations...

Of which many of us in the world consider to be absolutely mind-boggling failures. Thanks for pointing them all out for us.
OK, we tried to warn you. Now the entire world is against you but nobody has the balls to fix it. The U.S. finally has some vested intrest in this issue, not sure why, but they are coming to get you. No we can't stop them, nor will we really try, but don't worry! While they are bombing your servers to silicone dust we will publically condem the hell out of them!
You do realize that is an absolutely moronic statement to make and if you actually follow that practice you have NO business hiring ANYONE don't you? I have had the fortune of working with many great admins and techs who had the alphabet soup next to their names and on their resumes because their employers at some point forced them to.
Read the whole resume somtime, you might be passing on some great talent!
Dear Lord man... do you know what kind of trouble you can get into here on Slashdot with logical, reasonable, and rational thought like that??? Brave soul you are!
Heh heh... Bill "First"... Unless you are from TN that typo means so much more than you could possible imagine. God help us all if he changes his mind and does stay in politics!
Riiiiiiiiight.... let's not focus on making something that a significant portion of the web-world uses safer. GREAT plan. Yeah, maybe Apache still has a bigger market share, but IIS is not exactly a bit player either. Come on, safer sites, across the board, are a GOOD thing and deserve our attention.
Hmmm, I'm just kidding around on a Friday afternoon. You on the other hand don't evenhave the balls to put your name behind your ass-munch comment. Good work, your momma must be proud. Just to make sure, climb out of the basement and go ask her.
OK, head count... me, side-show elf-Bob, rigger at the wheel, the mark, wait... oh hell, who left the damn troll behind again? I swear if we get caught going back for him AGAIN he looses his cut of the money. Why did we put a troll on this team again??? Oh yeah, he sat on Bill.
Also a married man who gets things from the store. The one I am sent to has about a 95% pink / other color ratio. That was what I was basing my comment on:-)
"If you think all newspapers are "liberal" and "biased", you might want to rethink your view of the universe."
If you do not, maybe you should rethink yours. Claiming the the NYT is "the ultimate American source of unbiased, excellent journalism" only shows you have been so poisoned by the mass media that you have literally no real judgement abilities left. At NO point did I claim that other sources are not "right" biased as they most certainly are, I simply stated if you are going to attempt to disprove something as politically charged as SS, the NYT is NOT the source to use.
Well, set all us conservatives down... after all the NYT is the true light of truth and honest, unbiased journa... f-it... I can't even write that dribble.
I am not saying you don't have an argument, but damn, at least try to use a source that a few people still respect.
Um, dudes... come on... in the US tampons come in PINK BOXES. Ever been the victum of, "Honey could you grab me some *** while you are out... I use the ones in the PINK BOX." Then you get there and the whole GD row is nothing but F'ing ping boxes... how the hell am I supposed to figure this out. I don't have this plumbing... pink box my @$$.
Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything... just what I've heard.
So anyway, no pink boex are needed because there are no women gamers was the horribly incorrect point I think they were going for.

That "whoooshing" sound was your joke flying over a lot of heads.
Since I don't have any mod points I'll simply say, "Good one."

Dear lord ...
:-)
A logical, literate, and good-sense post from someone who doesn't agree with the US but is willing to see we are not the anti-christ.
Please hand over your Slashdot ID and report to the nearest ACLU/UN/Greenpeace/PITA office for your flogging and re-brainwashing
On a serious note, I completely agree with your post.

Hasn't Falcon-Northwest offered this on their Fragbook line for a while now?

3) Where is the ACLU to challenge this?

Slashdot groupthink may now mod me to oblivion.
Psssst, over here.
It is because you are not really funny, and when we laugh, we are indeed laughing at you, not with you. Sorry for the reality check.

I think the humor of your post was lost on this crowd. If I had some points I would've given you a +1 :-)
