once again, notice the "may" and the "certain circumstances":
This vulnerability may be exploited to compromise the web server and, under certain conditions, to gain privileged access.
time and time again, i see this in bug announcements, they always throw out the worse possibility, when in fact the majority of people wont be harmed anymore than a blind man tryin to swat a fly.
well, i can say that i download music and dont plan on buying the cd simply because cds are too damn expensive. maybe if they sold a cd of mp3s for $5 i'd buy that, but they dont, so fuck'em.
A simple solution would be to have the person staying in the room give the front desk their IP and they could just punch it in for him. If its already taken they could issue him another one, and unless you're a retard its not that hard to reset it on your lappy.
All the USA seems to do is complain, whine and bitch about the world. Their government is a powerhungry hoard of corrupt politicians. Everyone thinks the world is gonna end because of some nuclear war or perhaps a new world threat, when the only real threat there is, is the Americans themselves. They're the victims now, but as they destroy their enemy, and gain more power, they're the ones who are going to become the new threat to this planet.
If you ask me, someone should be regulating them. Just cause innocent civilians were the target of an attack, what gives them the right to go out and kill? Think about it, why is it right for the US to go out and slaughter people? It's not. They've already killed innocent civilians, violence solves nothing. They're doing exactly what the al-queda (sp?) did to them. They have become terrorists.
this story ran a couple of weeks ago, why the fuck are they posting it again? or if its just a different lab with different people, who gives a flying fuck.
It'd be a lot better if they somehow just upped the sound frequency which the cooling fans produced to a higher frequency out of the hearing range of humans. Although I don't think my dog would like that much.
If this is at all possible, could you somehow link up your cd player to output using a conversion cord, which would allow it to be plugged into a cd-rom audio connection on the motherboard and then record the cd from there?
Or even output the audio to a line in and simply record it ? Or does this lose quality?
Why are they removing the Orcs? That's so stupid, the orcs are part of the whole scene! This news saddens me.
APRIL FOOLS, I WAS PRETENDING TO BE SAD, AHAHA, wait a second, APRIL FOOLS AGAIN, THIS IS REAL NEWS! ahhahah someone please shoot me
uh if you paid attention to what you read, you might have noticed it was in the Ask Slashdot section. it's not a classified ad, if it was classified, it would have disclosed his contact info, which it didnt.
Aside from Batman and his "handy" sidekick Robin, they actually had this stuff quite a couple years ago. I recall watching something on the Discovery Channel and some divers were testing out share repellants and they were using some sort of "wand" that would release electrical waves? Or something, I'm not exactly a scientist on this matter so I may just be throwing out words that have no meaning.
But still...posting this story would be just as bad as if someone posted the story about the bear suit
"Immature 13-year-old boys up"
As noted above, this movie is in fact based on comic books, and who else would be interested in this movie than the avid comic book reader(ie teens, kids, pregnant women). Thus it's not like anyone is going to see this movie because of the plot, they wanna see their favorite superhero in action! Let them have some fun and ease up on the negativity.
Would you start bashing Batman and Spider-man because they have lame plots? Surely not. Speaking of plots, I hear the Spider-man movie has a plot no different than Blade II. Which turns out to be good vs. evil. Don't bash the movie because its a comic book brought to life, envy it...with your life and with your mother's motorless lawnmower.

What does this have to do with my rights online anyways? I couldn't care less whether boxes of colors are patented by one company or another.
