Wow, a whole 10 million dollars, huh? I'm sure that'll teach them. Oh, and I'm sure this only applies to radio stations in NY, right? (off to RTFA now)
I ended up getting an AeroCool VM-101 dealie for my graphics card, and it's made a world of difference in the amount of noise my machine makes. Installation was pretty straightforward once I popped the original GPU fan off the card. Well worth investing in if you have the previous generation of gfx card or earlier in your machine.
Seriously, if any of you out there are working on some low-budget space movie or anything, this is the perfect accompaniment track for that huge spaceship you've got taking off/flying by. Layer it up with a couple of other tracks and you'll have a very nice full ship sound.
I should get a copy of this as a US citizen and taxpayer.
Ahhh, but the question is do you feel that a Canadian, Japanese, or (god forbid!) French citizen/doctor/whoever should be able to get a copy of this for free also?
That's why I just ignore all of it and sit in my office playing Nethack and reading slashdot. Occasionally somebody will pop their head in, but I just tell them I'm busy and I'll come find them in a few minutes. They usually just go bother someone else.
The original hampsterdance song was a sped up clip of a Roger Miller tune from the Disney movie Robin Hood. The site then changed it to that godawful dance crap. I'm assuming it's because they were threatened by a lawsuit from Disney...
Damn! Where can I get one of those jobs? My current job requires only about 30-60 mins of actual effort per day. Of course, the flipside is that I'm constantly being told how great a job I'm doing and I've received about a 15% salary increase over the past year. Although, having a job that actually requires some brainpower and results in a sense of satisfaction would be nice, too...
Okay, even better then. I love it when "editors" add and publish typos...
I love it when the first word the submitter types is a typo...
Reminds me a bit of the riot nrrrd movement from 10 or 15 years ago...

Oh, like you know anything about how planets are made...
I wouldn't worry too much. They'll probably have DoubleClick handle the cookie for them.
