    These also work well for other non-computer related things. For instance, I use one on my iron (yes, I actually iron my shirts!) so the cord can be neatly tucked out of the way without having to wrap it around the handle a bazillion times.

    Remember how all the benchmarks put the P3 ahead of the P4 (clock for clock) when the P4s debuted? It seems this little trick of theirs could cause developers to say "Wow, the P4 really is fast compared to the P3."

    Games like Neverwinter Nights, or other real RPG's I find I lose interest quickly, then feel like I have wasted my money

    Actually, I found NWN to be perfect for my playing style. Create a fighter or barbarian or something and the game is pretty much a point-n-click hack-n-slash game. If you feel that the main campaign is too long, there're tons of 3-4 hour modules (or shorter or longer, depending on your mood) that people have made. Many of them are a perfect way to spend a crappy rainy day inside. Certainly well worth the 50 bucks I spent on it 3 years ago.

There's a good chance that they might (just maybe) have more of a clue than you do...

    This is really only news when a couple of big labels actually sign on.

    Except in the movie industry, they're called studios. Labels are those things in the music/record industry. It seems many /.ers can't seem to differentiate between the two. However, now that my pedantry is out of the way, the point of your post is well taken.

    Actually, downloading the .torrent file (as a broswer currently does) is entirely consistent with his list. Should every possible type of helper app be integrated with a browser?

    I haven't seen mwave.com mentioned yet. Admittedly, I haven't ordered from them in a few years, but the few times I did use them they had a good selection, good prices and pretty fast shipping.

    CompUSA, CircuitCity, and BestBuy. They always have great prices, along with incredibly knowledgable staff if you decide to visit their physical stores. Oh, and always make sure to get the extended warranty. You're a fool if you don't.
