The episode for Apollo 12 with Dave Foley as Al Bean is easily my 2nd favorite after the Lunar Module episode. They really brought the characters to life, and I'll be damned if I didn't want to get to know all 3 of the Astronauts as friends after watching that.
I haven't watched it in years, but I just like Beano, I can remember to switch SCE to AUX.
I would like to whole heartedly congratulate you for this post. I'm certain that this isn't a loaded question, and we'll see insightful discourse on the subject of Anime.
People's mothers, including thier mating, and eating habits will not be mentioned at all.:)
Besides, the Soviet Union wasn't a communist country. As Marx writes, every country that adopts communism must go through a period of socialism first. It was the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
I'll tell you why *I* do it. Because there are sites out there that don't play nice. Playing sounds, tryin g to install software, etc.
Of course, I just modified my hosts file to deal with this so smaller sites that do thier own advertising aren't affected.
The thing that made it so memorable was that it was obviously edited together from a matinee serial sort of thing. Thing was, when putting in "next weeks episode" they'd edit out the intro, but not the re-cap of the previous 5 minutes of last weeks episode. Picture me, having seriously imbibed, watching with a group of friends being unable to comprehend why the video keeps looping back onto itself...
Cheaper isn't always better. I once was an Athlon fan. I owned a few. But I had to make the switch. Why? Not because of anything that AMD ever did, but because I got *really* tired of unstable VIA chipsets. If I had a dime for every time I had a peice of hardware or software be just wildly incompatible on my Asus Via Athlon PC I could buy you lunch. Magically when I moved over to an Asus Intel P4 platform everything worked. Perfectly. The first time.
Obviously you've never listened to ATRAC3 files in LP2 mode. They sound great. Even the most hardcore MD enthusiast will tell you that LP4 isn't useful for music.
Also, I don't know where you're using your wlakman Tovarisch, but on the bus and subway where I use mine, extra quality is drowned out by ambient sound.
I hear your yes, but... and counter. I'm a huge fan of Minidiscs. If you're not going to use MP3s, and battery life is a big issue, why not go MD? I get months of use (at an hour or 2 a day) on a single AA, and cram 2 hours on a single MD. Thats good enough for me.
You're laughing, but those of us with Marine (Salt Water) aquariums use such devices to keep our tanks cool in the summer.

As far as the parent post is concerned, 85c is too hot for a marine tank as well. I personally use a pair of 60mm SilentX fans to help keep my fish and corals cool.
With posts like this, I'm disappointed we can't mod it to 1,000 instead of just 5.
You know, I really hate being a cynical suspicious bastard. But do any of us really think this isn't about stock price? Lets see some hands... Thought not.
I made the switch last night myself. Moved from a hodgepodge of using Mozilla's mail/news client to Thunderbird, and from IE to Firefox. Why? Because I got tired of pop-ups defeating the Google toolbar, and I figured the individual packages would get updated more often.
The Firefox move was painless, and I'm not missing IE.
Whoever decided to skip any sort of wizard to migrate Mozilla mail to Thunderbird has made a mistake. That was *not* painless, and the average user is going to balk at editing text files.
I'm still waiting for one of the fansub groups to release a version. It won't stop me from going to the theatre and buying the DVD, but the fansubs are usually of a much higher quality than the Dubs or the official subs.

Given the previous attacks by Cyber-Terroists
Cute. Of course, knowing this crowd, if they were attacking SCO they'd be "Freedom Fighters."
Hacktivists maybe then?
Heck, if it's going to an AMC theatre, the movie is already ON eMule!
(Dunno about the USA, but in Canada, AMC only plays 2nd run movies)
Does anyone know of a right wing science fiction writer? (Ron Hubbard notwithstanding)
Jerry Pournelle.
Actually, Jerry has been both a leftie and a rightie. Self proclaimed at that.
Well I'm glad to see that I have some credibility, even if it's only around here. Now pass the squeeze.

"One. Two. Many. Lots."
Of course as soon as I saw the title all I could think about was Detritus the Troll.

I swear that was the title to this when I saw it.

I'll never understand this. Event Horizon was a really damn good movie IMHO.
Hopefully MS will supply a version thay won't trash your PC soon. Luckily I have a spare PC to help with the recovery...
All of a sudden I have tonnes of bad files that chkdsk finds.

Yes, I'm paying more. But it *works*
Wow. What a long and pointless way to correct my saying 85c when I should have said 85f.
You win a prize!

Bzzt. Wrong. Try again. You can import MP3s directly onto a NetMD walkman at the same rate as any other file.

Do what I did, get your amateur radio licence. Then you can do pretty much whatever you like. At least in Canada that is.

OK, now will someone please figure out a way to get my LG GSA-4040B writer to write at 8x.
KTHXBYE.
In reading this, I thought, "this guy ... is employed? In computers/tech??".
/me ducks!
He's probably a programmer.

Just as long as they don't patent the "Body Buzz" I'll let this one slide. /me has another.
