    You keep saying it does no damage to anyone when it's proven that is does do damage to them.

    If I wanted to play a game, and that game is selling for $60 but instead I pirate that game, I have DEPRIVED (HARMED) the developer of that game.

    What about that don't you understand?

    They can affect change, they chose not to, they suffer the consequences...

    Who cares. They are people being governed. They can either accept the government they have (along with it their decisions) or try to change it (either through the peaceful process of voting or by violent revolution) However it is still their blame to take if they did neither.

    I doubt you'll find a school either online or B&M that will fit your needs unelss you go into a very specialized program at a school like CalTech, CMU, or MIT.

    The reason for that is college is not, by and large, about learning how to do what you want to do. It's about learning how to do what you HAVE to do, in order to do what you want to do.

    Working in teams, doing BS work that you don't like (TPS reports anyone?) working through bureaucracy etc... once you demonstrate these skills any idiot can be taught web design at a basic enough level... everything beyond that is experience anyway.

    Can you define free? Last time I checked even I am paying for the kids in my district to go to school and I don't even have any..

    EULA's which restrics the consumers rights have been popular for years. Only now have we started to wake up and realize the kind of power we are giving these people...and that is as individuals! How long do you think it will take a beaucracy such as a school board to care about something like this. Most of the tech guys working at these schools don't know know any other OS's either so the school is forced into windows anyway. I mean it is a nice idea but let's be realistic.

    One of the newest games out is an RPG called dugeon siege. It is a cross between Bolders Gate and Diablo 2. The plus side is you can alt-tab out in about 3 seconds even on a mediocre processor (think 500 mhz Laptop. It has worked for me many times as i go to a prep school where we to "work" during study and this has saved my ass many times. Thought you would like to know.
