    I'm sorry, but ther never will be a DVD-borner faster than 16x. Ever noticed that there were DVD-readers out anno 2000, that could read 16x (i own such a drive [pioneer]). And nowadays we still have the same speed. That's because the dvd-spec has this limitation. Above 16x, the material the tisc is amde of will simply break apart and destroy your drive... So we only can wait for a standard with higher data density, or a super-hyper-stable indestructible material. *missing the good old 8"-drives* ;)

    Even a label or writing with a pen to it could make the disc unreadable. (i read this in a test, and when you read at what speeds the disc rotates you'll understand that...)

    I hate poeple supporting anti-selection and anti-evolution.
    They don't understand that supportign genetic errors results in more genetic errors, until we only will have children that are not able to live anymore. (And when i look around on this world i feel that we're near to that)

    I really don't want to troll with that. I give everyone the fair respect he deserves, no matter what genes he has. But I _don't_ give someone MORE of something because he has defects. Because: Why does he have the right to get more? He's not better or worse than anybody else at this point.

    That's what's wrong with some poeple. They think handling poeple who are not "normal" like everybody else would be unsocial. Wrong, wrong, wrong, damnit!!

    Don't know what this MIPI is exactly, but to me it sounds like a special pivate police/terrorists-unit of the MI.
    Is it really that far already?

    I mean, how dumb can someone be, to let them do this?

    If they want a war of the big industries agains the internet and the good poeple, then they should be prepared for a firestorm wich takes down their whole ill and mad system.
    If nowadays, the companys act like governments it will happen to them like it happened to rome and it happened to the 3rd reich.

    Ever heard of the Nigeria-Connection?

    It's the group that sends out those mails:
    "Hello I am Mumbasa Kashesi, the Prince of Twantagunga... ... I have a large amoutn of money, and when you send me 5000$ to ... you'll get 50% of it.. blabla..."

    I once read that they already made billions of $$$ with it!!!

    So the problem here is the DUMBNESS of the people.
    (The IE is so widespread for the same reason!)

    I guess to stop spam you have to rise the amount of cash, the government spends on education by some 100%s...
    (And btw. this would also stop much crime, poorness, poeple like bush, hitler, saddam, religious freaks becoming the leader of a country...)

    P.S.: Sorry for my - i guess - bad english. I'm not that dumb, I only speak java or german normally... ;)

    well... als everyone knows this worm was not intended to be evil. De was made to kick sco's ass for being such a bastard. Don't know if it helped, but if not, maybe there will come a second one.

    And btw. i "installed" a modified version of the virus on my machine after i got the first mail with it.
    Just because i loved to see that on the net, if you're a bastard, your ass will be kicked, no matter what the laws say.
    I think this is a good thing. (Because it's *fair*!)

    Hmm... if we pay for the file-sharing then the downloads are legal right.

    Only problem: The artists don't see the money because this SOCAN puts it in his own pocket. (Here in germany the GEMA is lobby of worldly innocent old poeple with bad karma, huge limousines, own islands with fat villas... [no joke, this is the truth! i worked with somebody who worked for them.])

    Because of their bad karma i think they will even try to sue us when wie may more for the treffic, computer, cd/dvd-burner, harddisc, scanner, whatever...

    That's why i think they go to hell, because they have to kill me before i'll pay 1 cent to them.
    I ONLY pay the artists directly, and only when i think it's WORTH it.

    Many things were left unsolved. But i'm sure there's more to come...

    Well... for the most countrys in the world it's moch more dangerous to let this wird 3rd-world-country called "usa" rule the internet.
    Have you ever tried to register an iraqi-domain? or another minor or not so usa-loving domain?
    I'm no expert for TLDs and the management around this, but the responsible contacts are unreachable, and when you ask someone to clear that, you will never get an answer.

    THIS is what I call censorship.

    The ONLY possible solution is a international self-controlled internet in a way that the internet is his own virtual country for itself.

    Umm... as far as I know a 800 mhz PowerPC
    has 3 times the power of a Pentium III with the same speed.

    So a 1000mhz ppc-chip is enough to kick the ass of a 2.8 GHz P4 (who is slower than P3 in many things!).
