socialism for everything yes, but the current healthcare system shows that capitalism also does not work for everything. How much are you willing to pay to live? And in this case amazon and walmart are intentionally shorting people hours so they cannot get benefits and other things full time employees get. The bezo act is a good way to cut to why they are doing that and make it unattractive.

  5. I disagree that nearly half the country believes him. People screaming can seem like a lot more than they are and they will go back to their holes once people have had enough.

  6. you do realize that trump's bad behavior has consequences right? The fact that a conservative fish bowl of news won't say the obvious does not change that fact.

  7. The only thing naive about your comment is to think when trump does terrible things that people think not he is a terrible person. They are not wrong.

trump is still riding Obama's coat tails. It took a while for bush's bad decisions to catch up with him and they will catch up with trump too. Might take a couple of years for it to really hit the fan, but getting everything trump wants is not going to result in what would be good for regular people. It will result in things like no inheritance tax and the 1% to get even more rich at everyone's expense, just like it did for bush jr.

The reason excel is still ubiquitous is that it allows for ad hoc reporting. Every attempt I have ever seen to replace excel was unsuccessful in replicating this and to be honest why try. What he should be doing is finding out how people work and then changing how they work in excel to connect their spreadsheets directly to a database or api that allows them to work like they need, but single sources the data eliminating the data fragmentation problem. This would then also allow for other tools that don't need ad hoc reporting to be built.
