you mean DRM-? (DRM+ is a bit silly)
Hmm... never tried to copy a car before. After reading this, it should be as easy as copying an mp3. My mind is totally changed on DRM-... or not.
Exactly what I was thinking. They had no idea what was going to happen before 9/11 and it is pretty obvious why when you look at stuff like this. Invasion of privacy and a wasted effort all at the same time.
Not true. Only the big companies like EA have sucked the fun out of making games for their drones (and hence why I never purchase a game the minute I see EA as involved with it). There are plenty of great games out there, you are not force to by substandard crap if you don't want to.
Drug companies should not be allow to market directly to the public. Only a doctor should assess the patient and determine if they should need a particular drug. Health care should not be a for profit business.
and start charging for his news. It may only take a month for him to figure out no one wants to pay for it, but it it would be great for the world to get a break from his yellow journalism.
Once you have your MythTV box automatically skip a commercial without you needing to even press a remote button you may think otherwise. Some things are worth the effort and building a MythTV box is one of them.
I am totally going to go check them out by downloading their songs. If the government thinks they are that good to tell people to shout the band name I will give them a listen!
If you mean I can play games like Fallout and Baldurs Gate and Crysis at full settings on the same PC, guess you are correct. Good luck even getting an xbox360 to work in 5 years.
Guess who is trying to get these laws passed. When you buy music, make sure to check http://riaaradar.com/ to see if the album is from a company that funds the RIAA. If they do, don't buy it and stick it to them a couple dollars of lost earnings at a time.
Blizzard will be losing sales. People who would have bought it will still have it, but will chose to get the version that enables LAN play, which will only be available as a pirate version.
Don't worry, some one will hack in the LAN feature hours after it is released and it will be out on torrents everywhere. People who would have bought a copy will get the full LAN feature pirate version instead. Blizzard has just screwed themselves out of these potential sales, but that was their decision to not listen to their Customers.
Consoles are the epitome of auto-aim no skill game play so I am not sure what you are talking about. And vendor lock-in means you are at the mercy of what ever Sony does and there will never be a free game you can play (and games will always be over prices relative to PC games). A budget rig costs $600 and will run Crysis at full settings. I have not updated my rig in 2 years and will likely only need a new video card to get another 2 years of use out of it.
On top of all that, PC gaming is just more fun is you actually like skill based play rather than bland most common denominator easy mechanics (and the limitations of a console controller vs an actual keyboard and mouse)

Typical deals with RIAA labels return ~1% of profits to the Artists so your not hurting the Artists if you don't buy it. They make most of their money from concerts. riaaradar.com is the best way to know if when you buy music the Artist will be taken care of.

Interesting people who like to say this never point out Alien Nation ripped off Coneheads. I fully expected Dan Ackroyd to jump out at any minute. It was corny crap not even in the same league and I could not sit through Alien Nation even though I have a pretty low threshold for sci-fi
If you have 30 minutes to play and you have to wait 5 minutes to login because of a bunch of unnecessary splash screens and company logos and then logging off is equality as stupid, then I would say yes I am concerned about it. I want to be wasting my time, not waiting to waste my time so some middle manager can say that he is "building brand" or some such non-sense.

If they choose to invalidate all of them, oh well.

Yes you can integrate HD support. You can use a Hauppauge HD PVR to take the component out of the receiver then sent that to the myth box. http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_hdpvr.html

build a Mythtv. That is what I use and it rocks.

And the reason I still don't own a console. PC games are just more fun if you like things like this.

I am a bit shocked that there have been no arrests at Goldman Sachs for market manipulation and illegal front running.
If you play on a LAN you don't care about battle.net

I cannot believe something as interesting as this is a blurb that never hit the front page.

The Coneheads was originally a sketch on Saturday Night Live which originated on the January 15, 1977 episode
