  10. this is it does not make the game cheaper on In-Game Advertising Makes Games Better? · · Score: 1

I hate when companies lose their focus like this and worry about marketing initiatives instead of their core focus, making the game. Once they are putting ads in the game, then instead of trying to make the game better it will creep that they need to get you to look at the ads. And all the while the game is not any cheaper and now they are starting to degraded the game as well. I could see ads in some games if they made the game cheaper and better, but for the most part it makes the gaming company lose their focus and produce a poor product.

  25. Re:well done, Tolkien "trust" on Tolkien Trust Okays Hobbit Movie · · Score: 4, Insightful

New Line made $6 billion and tried to screw Peter Jackson and the Tolkien Trust what they were owed (actually I still think they got screwed being paid $220 million). Instead of letting Jackson and the Hobbit make them a new pile of money, New Line tried to keep it all themselves. Have to wonder why the management of New Line still has a job making business decisions like that. Shareholders should be angry it has taken this long to settle holding up the next movie. And anytime anyone wants to give me $6 billion dollars for a $220 million payment and what ever Jackson got, and the potential for a new big pile of cash let me know there would be no waiting or bad faith like New Line.
