  6. The future, brought to us by Microsoft... on You Look Like You Need a Guinness · · Score: 1

I KNOW Microsoft will responsible for bringing this crappy world into the future.

Microsoft will buy out the government, and together, they will go to work making our future possible. The world you see in the theaters (Bladerunner, The Fifth Element, Star Wars, Minority Report, etc.) is all made possible by Microsoft.

The problem today is that be have too much competition making it hard for to develop common standards. But if every company worked under one head-honcho (Microsoft) we can still have competition but all based around one common infrastructure!

So basically, everything will be Microsoft brand, but will have the design brand name on it. Like that Lexus car in Minority Report... According to my view, it would have been a Lexus car with the Bose sound system, Nokia phone system, and the AT&T wireless network... all built tightly around a special Microsoft based system, which also runs perfectly with the house OS, street OS, street sign OS, emergency OS, etc. Since every part of the world is built around Microsoft's OS, everything will run flawlessly!!!

Linux Penguin is the devil of 2050!

    Am I right?!?!

  9. Guggenheim and preservation on To Digitize or Not Digitize the Family Photo Album? · · Score: 1

The Guggenheim museum had a similar problem w/ digital formats and its longevity.

The museum was worried about not being able to view today's digital installations in 100 years from now and in the way it was meant to be seen by the artist (presentation).

There are a lot of articles on google on this topic.

  15. Too much to handle on Nintendo Ressurecting Classic NES Games to the GBA · · Score: 0

Gaming used to be much more simple and cheap. Buy the console and buy some games for it. Now its all about crazy accessories and extras (controllers, memory, stuff), which isn't a bad thing. But I'm running out of money attending to my Gamecube, Gameboy Advance, Xbox, and PC needs. I saw the card swipe thing at E3, and some of 'mini' games I saw were pretty basic: black and white and basic blocks. If they can fit Mario 3 onto a single swipe card, that would be impressive.
