Except of course that now your magnesieum alloy components would never survive the violence of a launch. The sonic loads sustained by payloads alone means these things need to be tough. When it comes to space throw out your knowledge gained from the movies. This tank is designed to withstand temperature extremes, both hot and cold. Hydrazine tanks have survived re-entry before, and not just the shuttle ones. There's one sitting outside my office building.

Considering there's a tank of Hydrazine that survived re-entry siitting outside my office, it's quite possible for a tank to surtvive re-entry. This is still an insulated titanium fuel tank. Why take the chance? This isn't some huge conspiracy, what exactly is being covered up? Everyone knows it was a spy satellite, everyone knows it was dead, and everyone knows that it was coming down in an uncontrolled orbit. Just because it was a government operation doesn't mean that the government wasn't actually trying to help people.

I was under the impression Wii attach rates were 4.8 or low 3 depending on if you count Wii sports and wii play in NA, hardly dismal Global attach rates are 4.94 according to the numbers I found. That being said most of those games are ninetendo games, but let's face it if nintendo stopped making hardware tomorrow, and released only software Do you think they wouldn't dominate the sales of the other two consoles? Nintendo owns the two largest franchises in video game history, and a couple of others that are pretty dammned iconic. Once third party publishers catch up to the success of the wii and release a list title then we'll guage how well its treating third parties.

That being said at the moment X-box is the place tobe if you're not Nintendo.

Check you math. July NPD shows the 360 beating the PS3. Despite the somewhat rambling nature of your post here's the facts, Publishers have a limited number of resources they can put twoard developing games. They are going to push those resources twoards the system with the highest installed base. Argue all you want how the Wii is competing with the PS2, but business is business. Sony is not burning up the field with sales, and publishers are going move on. Will Sony go bankrupt? No. But don't expect them to be thrilled about the position they're in, nor thier stock holders. People were fired, and more will be if things don't turn around.

  5. Re:And you called it wrong on July NPDs Show PS3 Didn't Pull Ahead of 360 · · Score: 1

Check your math again. NPD numbers show that the Xbox still outsold the PS3. The PS3 may be a good console(I haven't played it) but from a business standpoint they aren't lighting the world on fire, and 3rd party publishers are going to focus on the systems with the higher installed base. It's not about markets, Wii is competeing for publisher resources along with the PS3 no matter how you spin it. Publishers have a finite number of programers and will point that talent to wherever the market drives them.

A copyright holder can identify infringement report it and have it removed. To expect youtube to have some magical AI script that detects copyrighted files is lunacy.

I don't know I sort of agree with this. My high school simply published my GPA we had no class rank, though there was a valedictorian. I had a graduating class of 70 people, many quite smart. Being in the top 10% was quite difficult. Same thing with my university, we didn't even have a valedictorian and have never given out an honorary degree. This isn't to say there was no honor society, or honor roll. Simply that it wasn't percentage based. With a small enough sample size class rank can be detrimental.
