I don't think she rents games, but I got the impression that there's a fair demand for game rentals, at least from what I see in the local Blockbuster branch (lotsa games.. although there aren't many anime titles there, and I do like anime in games).
And regarding Xbox games, why would anyone sell them if nobody has a console? I think it's really funny there's no xboxes here, and it gives me an idea - demonstrating against them when they come: "We managed great without those mosnters. Don't let them come in!"
I don't know about other countries around here, but nobody's officially importing xboxes to Israel. You can find it in some Israeli auction sites but it's not too useful because nobody's renting games for it.

LCD projectors are bad, very. While LCD works lovely with wristwatches and cellular phones, it is bad for displaying big stuff - either on the screen or on the wall. I've played with several LCD projectors - the kind used for presentations, and they were always bad. They always had poor contrast. About plasma I don't know much, but it's still worse than normal CRT technologies. So the answer is, either use a digital projector or just wait for the LED (or organic led) world.
Is there an answer by now to the question: What is more successful - PS2 or Xbox?
Technically xbox is supposed to be superior to ps2 (it got an HD - unlike the ps2 where you have to buy a slow memory stick), but xbox is evil and got no spirit (and no emotion engine), so I figured. So who's leading?

Did you really check that? Did you go to someplace like www.whatismyip.com and verified that the IP belongs to your ISP and not to some unknown proxy server?

Nah. I prefer the country to be xbox-free. I think PS2 is less evil.

I think that normal LEDs last forever, but the LEDs which are meant for lighting do have a limited lifetime, unfortunately for them.
- Topic icons and preferably custom. I love topic icons!
- Friends like in here, along with new journal notifications. Communities are nice too (like in LiveJournal) but I'm not used to them.
- Erase comments of annoying people and ban them too, and block anonymous posters. Slashdot kinda lacks in that.
- Embedding pictures in the blog and preferably allowing to upload them on the same server too.
- Lists that can appear on the side of the blog.
- Marital status, searchable. Blogs can be a great dating service too!

But that's the problem. There are hardly any other browsers, and none of them does the job. Seems that nobody wants to develop a palm browser either.
